holyfield over tyson.
holyfield had better fights, better opposition, he had moved up in weight to be a heavyweight, he wasn't a natural heavy.
he fought almost ever one that was available and fought them in their prime, some with exceptions but none the less.
tyson was devistating but i think career against career holyfield is the more accomplished fighter. inside and outside the ring, holyfield isnt a saint outside the ring either if you wanna get into his extra marital affairs and child support mess, but that has nothing to do with boxing but a lot to do with how some perceive a person. tysons just done more crazy **** and did one of the biggest against holyfield. makes tyson look bad always when that gets brought up.Comment

tyson. those who think otherwise probably were not around during tyson's era, as most of the posters here are not even over 20. you've got to be there to feel it and acknowledge how experts call him the baddest man on the planet. damn even nintendo made a game for him.Comment

Holyfield is generally ranked higher because he had more quality wins and won head-to-head against Tyson. I think a 1988 Tyson beats Holyfield, but as a career, Holyfield > Iron MikeComment

u make it seem like tyson's prime was in 2003 instead of 86 ahahahahaha. its been 20years and the hype is still there and growing into mythical proportions. it aint goin no whereComment

In my opinion Holyfield never beat Bowe, they fought 3 different times in their prime, I had Bowe winning fights 1/3 and I had the second fight a draw. So should I rank Bowe over Holyfield???
Tyson dominated for like 3 years, he was the baddest man on earth for 3 years, I can't really say the same about Holyfield.
I think a prime Tyson would've beaten Holyfield 9 out of 10 times.
Yes many people do overrate Tyson, but I think Tyson in his prime was a better then Holyfield.Comment
