They both failed a drug test, so they equal on paper.

Perception is that Canelo is innocent, most respectable boxer opinions believe Canelo tainted meat and the testing levels and willingness to give hair sameple pretty much dispelled suscupion of wrong doing.

Fury on the other hand popped dirty and than went into hiding with a fabricated mental health story so he can detract from the failed test and it appeared to worked. No one ever brings up he was suspended and failed a drug test, not to mention all the controversy around him about his gloves, cheating in training, gloves thumb attachment being cut etc.
