After a horrifying ko like that, is it time for LSC to retire?

That was nasty. Hope he is well.
I agree. I feel sorry for him too. Gary Russell fight late next year might be a good option to retire on, if he can still do it.

    I like Santa Cruz.

      Then only fight specific fighters.

He can still make money and fight certain guys and perform well.

He should look to become a free agent
Cruz is a free agent. Haymon is not a promoter.

leo has took minimum damage in his career, even in this fight he didnt take any damage just a vicious KO and KO arent as bad as damage. So I think he will be fine, just take a break half a year and come abck summer of 2021 against a tune up and continue on pressing till he decides to hang them up.

I agree with this. Green K.

True, it all depends on how Leo handles it, its not damage to mechanics it might be damage to the way he thinks, this was a Manny type KO they dont really remember anything and they felt no pain, I think for some guys take it subconsciously like a near death experience and it ruins them as a boxer.

All the best to Leo he is one of good guys off boxing.

He got ko'd, big deal. If he gets ko'd in his next fight and after that it happens again then he maybe should retire. But it is his life after all. His mind/body, his choice.........Rockin'

I agree, you never know what kind of mental block/effects a KO will take on a fighter some it doesnt even bother them and some never can get their old self back. Lets hope LSC is the type where its no biggie, he still young and can give us some good fights.

i saw him beating davis until he got slept. Do you think tank was winning or would have won that fight if leo wasnt caught? Leo would have never stopped punching to about 1200 punches thrown. Tanks eyes were swelling in the 4th-5th. Tank won fair and square. But leo can definitely beat him.

I think hes able to beat any of them. But its boxing so he able to lose all of them as well. Those are the breaks. And why i love boxing. Never know.

I had Leo ahead 3-2 in rounds but I can't see him ever beating Tank. Outside of the WBA minor titles, I wouldn't favor Leo to beat any of them.

He should retire from fighting at 130, but I still think he can come back in mid to late 2021 at 126.
