We don't need another Mancini-Kim aftermath in his next fight from the lingering effects of the Tank ko. Just truly devastating/scary.

Imo he doesn’t need to retire but he should take a break from sparring for about 4-6 months then try and do the Frampton trilogy fight

          I don't think so.

But it broke my heart when I saw him go down like that.

          I hope he's doing OK

Why retire f he does not want to? He fought well.He has never been beat up before. He got KOed by a guy who knocks out EVERYBODY he fights. He is 32 years old. Lots of boxers are much older than him and have had more fights and taken much more damage. You should worry more about Chisora or Pacquiao or others who are older and have taken many more hard punches and been brutally KOed a few times. If Santa Cruz passes all tests for brain damage he is no more likely to be killed in the ring than other pro boxers.

Idk about retirement but LSC is done at the top level. After that ko, he better hope he saved his money cuz he ain't getting anymore big fights.

                  Retire

Seems like a nice guy and accomplished a lot in the sport.

That was nasty. Hope he is well.

Take some time off and drop back down to 126.

It's not as if he's taken a crazy amount of punishment in his career and that was the first time he's ever been hurt really badly.
