I won't say he's done, he was figured out by Salido but no one has been able to successfully push lomachenko back till Lopez.

I think physically and maybe mentally as well, he is less than he was a year ago. Over 400 fights, the training, the focus, moving up weight classes, employing his style, I believe has taken its toll.
Much like Breadman commented, I think there's a chance he just retires. It appears he is on the decline. He's passed his peak. Father time is knocking.

Can he still win ? Of course, he was that good. Younger, tough, bigger guys ? ..... not so sure ---
I notice whenever a fighter goes from fighting 3 or 4 times per year down to just 1 or 2, they lose their edge. Their reflexes aren't the same, their endurance isn't the same. This is what happened with GGG too.

There are a few fighters I'd pick to beat him at lightweight, Haney included.

It'd be like saying Tank is a bum just because 140 would be too much and Prograis would push his shit in at the weight. He wouldn't really be a bum, would he? He'd just be operating outside of where he should be.

Yep. I always wanted Loma to continue fighting 4X a year. He wasn't going to have a large window for a professional career anyway, so I thought it a little pointless to go down to 1X or 2x. Would have been nice to finish with more like 25 fights.
The Covid virus pandemic didn't do older pro athletes a favor, either.

Yeah his strength, stamina, skills, are no longer making up for any reach or size disadvantages. He can't be the smallest guy in the ring anymore...imo

I think going back down to 130 is the best move for him! Haney at 135...Haney is a BIG 135, he is bigger than Teofimo and I think he is more skilled overall thanTeofimo but doesn't have the Power that Teofimo has of course

Loma still a Top P4P Fighter but just too small for 135, I think 130 you will see Loma as his best once again

I wanna at least see Haney fight someone credible before we put him in with Teofimo, Loma, Tank etc.
Who would you consider a credible opponent for Devin Haney after Gamboa? Jorge Linares? Javier Fortuna? Richard Commey?

I think each of those guys would be a step up from Gamboa.

I mean, Lomachenko never had this problem before the Neofimo fight, so it makes most sense to me that Teofimo Lopez neutralized Lomachenko for the first 7 or 8 rounds. THEN, Lomachenko said screw it I'm going inside the pocket and going to trade with Fimo. Not to mention that Lomachenko didn't start coming forward, in the second-half of the fight, until Teofimo clearly started showing some focus issues and stamina issues, which may have been caused by "the in the clench punching" and blatant head butting.
I don't think Lomachenko or any fighter would purposely give up the first 6-7 rounds so yes, I do believe that Teofimo Lopez had a lot to do with Loma's slow start. I thought Teo did a great job of throwing a straight right to the body without over-commiting as Loma circled away and that banked him the early rounds.

All 3 work for me mate... You could probably throw the winner of Garcia/Campbell in that mix too.

I think Fortuna is the mandatory so that can hopefully be next.
