Part of Castillos check was going to go to Corrales making his paycheck more, plus when Corrales loses he still keeps his title because Castillo couldn't make weight. So he gets more money and keeps his title after the fight, which is a no lose situation. BUT! Corrales was SCARED TO GET KNOCKED OUT, theres no other explianation.

Rosendo Alverez pulled the same thing with Ricardo Lopez and guess what? They still fought. And guess what Lopez won.

The WBC says no. So lets see what the courts say when they see the fax from the wbc to the contributing parties.

Simple. They knew Corrales is a warrior, but they didn't expect him to have his balls go into his stomache. Corrales was scared of getting knocked out. Had the last fight gone the distance and even if Corrales had lost, and we had the same situation at the weigh in then im sure Corrales would have gone through with the fight. But having been ko'd, he wasn't going to fight him again, which is fine, but its a ***** MOVE to complain about a paycheck you didn't earn. edit: pay him a few grand for his time in training, but asking for millions is ridicules.
ITS CALLED CONTRACTS, they are grown men over the age of 18 and can legal enter into a contract. If you dont fulfill your part of a contract you have to suffer the consequences.

Corrales LOST MONEY in this fight. He had to pay his trainers, sparring partners, living accomodations for himself and trainers.

On top of that Corrales worked hard for atleast 9 weeks in order to get in shape. He also lost revenue due to the fact that he could've booked someone else. Promoters lost money because they had to give people there money back and didn't get the gate draw they had previously wanted. Its called taking responsibility.

If thats too complicated for you let me put it like this. Why have any rules? Why agree on a pair of gloves, ring size or even weight division?

You dont think Morales wants that crucial extra 5 pounds but only have to pay a little extra? How about Calz sign to fight PBF at 147lbs and say Oops I couldn't make weight cuz I hurt my hand in training Floyd.

Once again its not that Castillo didn't make weight for what ever reason, its his keeping it a secret. He knew well ahead of time that he wasn't gonna make weight but he didn't inform Corrales of his weight issue and allow him the opportunity of fighting at an equal and fair weight. Castillo didn't do this. His clandestine activity gave Corrales only 2 options 1)Fighting at a serious disadvantage and risk his health (i.e. Gamache) 2)Deciding not to fight.

Shaw and Arum only care about the money. If Corrales wanted to fight he would have fought, but he saw what happened last time and said forget it. Its happened in history where a fighter as in Castillo comes in over weight they make a deal and the fight goes on. But plain and simple, Corrales was scared and is a ***** sueing for money he could have got if he fought. He wasn't going to fight for peanuts but for a million, plus he would have gotten a good chunk of Castillos check since he was over weight so add another 250 grand to Corrales check but he didn't want to fight - his fault.

This is so redundant. The fight was SIGNED for 135. 135, the RING belt Diego has is at 135. Coralles had to work his ass off to get to 135 and deserves his opponent to do the same. You think Corralles should fight him because hes going to get "a huge chunk of castillos purse"? **** that if Castillo comes in at 150-155 and Corrales comes in at 147 that advantage of 3 to 5 lbs that Castillo overweighed at means alot.

Corrales is a *****..right. Hes taken 2 beatings from this man, one of which he should have never had to take, and he should take another from a man that has a huge weight advantage because hell get more money?

Let me tell you something. You yourself will never get in that ring, and even if you do, youll never win the RING championship, youll never have the courage to do what Diego did in his fight with Castillo, getting back up, regaining himself and knocking someone out. Maybe what your saying frustrates me because of my association with Diego but I dont care, your calling a man who takes a beating for your entertaining a ***** from behind your computer and the safety of your keyboard, and thats really pathetic.

Your dillusional, unrealistic and sometimes downright foolish in some of your views. You come across as biased, arrogant and your arguments almost always lack merit, legit evidence, and proper logic based on legit evidence. Its another reason why more and more taking your serious becomes difficult because you think of the unthinkable just to protect your favorite fighters. Its downright rediculous.

I want you to do this, since you "watch so much boxing" tell me when is the last time someone fought for a legit belt, PLUS the RING belt, then came in overweight. I want you to tell me since your knowledge is so vast. Nobody comes in for a legit championship plus the Ring belt overweight. Nobody. This doesnt "happen all the time" in major title fights.

Why did it take almost 3 months to schedule this hearing? What a joke the administration of boxing is.

Can you imagine the NFL or FIFA waiting 3 months to hold a hearing on why a team didn't show up ready to play?
