Shaw and Arum only care about the money. If Corrales wanted to fight he would have fought, but he saw what happened last time and said forget it. Its happened in history where a fighter as in Castillo comes in over weight they make a deal and the fight goes on. But plain and simple, Corrales was scared and is a ***** sueing for money he could have got if he fought. He wasn't going to fight for peanuts but for a million, plus he would have gotten a good chunk of Castillos check since he was over weight so add another 250 grand to Corrales check but he didn't want to fight - his fault.
Dude, first off your ******ed for blaming Corrales a lightweight for not fighting a jrWelterWeight which is what Castillo was at the time. But again your straying from the actual debate which is WAS CASTILLO'S WEIGHT PROBLEMS CONCEALED FROM NSAC, CORRALES AND TOP RANKED?

Secondly, we will just see how well documented these supposed letters to NSAC, Arum and Shaw really are. Your right also on that Shaw and Arum only care about money....so then why keep promoting a fight and waste millions on promotions when you have just been informed that Castillo wouldn't make weight

I thought before Hatton signed with his next fight that Castillo would've been a better fit because it was big money and American fans would like to watch it and would know who Castillo was. Also it would be good for Hatton because with Castillo probably being suspended he could have negotiating leverage and schedule the fight to happen at the MEN Arena.

lol you really are so dumb. why blame corrales when he abided by all the rules? your desperation in trying to justify castillo's case is making you spew nonsense.

I think this is rediculous. He shouldn't even be going to court. Yes, it dissapointed fans, and caused losses for Bob arum & casino's, but don't they have enough money?? If a club fighter missed weight bout he be suspended from fighting for a year and fined? Hell no. Also, I know Castillo was in the wrong, but Corrales could have "COULD HAVE" still fought him. It's a shame it all came to this, but let Castillo fight and forget all this Boxing Legal Bull****.

i'm not too sure about this, but awhile ago i heard that one of the belt sanctioning's were suppose to be at or visit Castillo's camp before the fight to make sure he was on weight, so the samething wouldn't happen like there 2nd fight where Castillo didn't come in overweight & supposibly they sent letters in saying he was on track of making weight.

As i've said, Corrales is sueing because he didn't get paid. YOU DON'T FIGHT! YOU DON'T GET PAID! Part of Castillos check was going to go to Corrales making his paycheck more, plus when Corrales loses he still keeps his title because Castillo couldn't make weight. So he gets more money and keeps his title after the fight, which is a no lose situation. BUT! Corrales was SCARED TO GET KNOCKED OUT, theres no other explianation.

Rosendo Alverez pulled the same thing with Ricardo Lopez and guess what? They still fought. And guess what Lopez won.

But again your straying from the actual debate which is WAS CASTILLO'S WEIGHT PROBLEMS CONCEALED FROM NSAC, CORRALES AND TOP RANKED?
The WBC says no. So lets see what the courts say when they see the fax from the wbc to the contributing parties.

Secondly, we will just see how well documented these supposed letters to NSAC, Arum and Shaw really are. Simple. They knew Corrales is a warrior, but they didn't expect him to have his balls go into his stomache. Corrales was scared of getting knocked out. Had the last fight gone the distance and even if Corrales had lost, and we had the same situation at the weigh in then im sure Corrales would have gone through with the fight. But having been ko'd, he wasn't going to fight him again, which is fine, but its a ***** MOVE to complain about a paycheck you didn't earn. edit: pay him a few grand for his time in training, but asking for millions is ridicules.
