He'll clear everything up with medical records proving his rib injury.....and the commission will understand, that when you're that active of a fighter...fighting that level of opposition: An injury is a serious weakpoint that keeps you from performing the same types of circuit training that he's used to.

I wonder if the outcome of the hearing would play a part in the law suits Castillo is currently facing from Gary Shaw and Corrales.
Also is that $250,000.00 maximum penalty amount a set amount i.e. like a parking ticket is a set amount or is it a perecentage of the purse he would've received and that amount happends to be $250,000.000? Because that seems pretty high if its there standard amount.Comment

Isn't that from the second fight? Did he complain about a rib injury from the second fight? If its true then he has something to help him but it still doesn't explain why he didn't inform the Corrales, Shaw, NSAC or Arum, i think thats the more damning thing.Originally posted by RunWithKnivesHe'll clear everything up with medical records proving his rib injury.....and the commission will understand, that when you're that active of a fighter...fighting that level of opposition: An injury is a serious weakpoint that keeps you from performing the same types of circuit training that he's used to.Comment

He claimed multiple times, that he wasn't able to do certain routines like the medicine ball drop, rugged sparring, or other activities because of a rib fracture. Oh and also alot of what is said......is lost in translation.Originally posted by Left2bodyIsn't that from the second fight? Did he complain about a rib injury from the second fight? You need to do your home-work. The wbc sent letters out to shaw, nsac, to tell them that Corrales missed his routine weight check. So part of the fault lies with shaw and the neveda commision for not responding or caring about what the wbc was informing them of the situation with castillo. Once the court sees this information, no way can hold castillo soley at fault.Comment

I did and NSAC and Arum both claimed that they never received such notices. This point is disputed between the WBC and NSAC, Shaw and Top Rank. So I guess maybe you should read more than 1 biased article before you claim that others haven't done there homework as you so eloquently put it. Why dont you do your home work.Originally posted by ferocityYou need to do your home-work. The wbc sent letters out to shaw, nsac, to tell them that Corrales missed his routine weight check. So its the WBC's claims versus Top Rank, NSAC and Shaw. You think that Arum and Shaw would've continued to promote a fight and waste millions on a fight that had the potential to be cancelled? I dont like Arum or Shaw but I dont think they are ****** either and wouldn't throw money away.Comment

I'd belive the wbc over the other because that document is going to be used in court.
Shaw and Arum only care about the money. If Corrales wanted to fight he would have fought, but he saw what happened last time and said forget it. Its happened in history where a fighter as in Castillo comes in over weight they make a deal and the fight goes on. But plain and simple, Corrales was scared and is a ***** sueing for money he could have got if he fought. He wasn't going to fight for peanuts but for a million, plus he would have gotten a good chunk of Castillos check since he was over weight so add another 250 grand to Corrales check but he didn't want to fight - his fault.Comment
