Cruiser was absolutely stacked a couple years back with Hunter, Gassiev, Usyk, Dorticos, Briedis, etc. but four of those five have moved up to heavyweight, and LHW's rarely make the jump to cruiser.
What's the point of cruiserweight division?

Cruiserweight has to have a home. Whether it's for those too big to stay down or too small to ever really compete at heavyweight.
It's certainly got more of a role to play than some of the weights below it... Who really can't cut 3kgs? If you're too big to get another 3kgs off then you're trying to box in the wrong division. Bulk up and move up.Comment

Yeah I don't see what was wrong with the old 190 limit, if you can't cut to 190 then yeah you should be at heavyweight.Comment

Half the divisions need to go, and there should only be two belts per division. There are too many average champions, and definitely too many mediocre title challengers & mandatories.
It's similar to how there are too many NBA teams now. A team as bad as the Knicks shouldn't even be allowed. If there were 4 less NBA teams, no one would even miss the players that would be forced out of the league.Comment
