someone being called P4P king without beating a single elite or even A class opponent is unheard of

yes 100% right. I do actually rate Crawford's skills. They are excellent. But having balls to test those skills is a pre-requisiste of being a P4P king.

Crawford’s best wins at welterweight and maybe his entire career are Horn, khan and Benavidez. Hardly even close to being in the top 10.

Why Crawford signed with Top Rank and not PBC when he knows the brand name fighters are at PBC is beyond me. Even Pacquiao at his late age went to PBC to extend his career.

I can see brook giving Crawford his toughest test to date. Depending on the odds I might actually put money on Brook.
