Only exceptionally ****** people are saying this. No big deal.
Why is everyone saying lomo getting surgery is an excuse?

I think injuries are legit points of discussion, certainly don't want fighters to use them as an excuse but if there is an injury then it's a variable to be taken into account.....but in this case, how many times did we hear that the layoff was going to mean Loma was "healed" and refreshed from previous lingering shoulder injuries. Many people said this would be a much better version than when he had the nagging discomfort. I had no reason to think otherwise either, didn't hear anything other than he had gotten plenty of time to rest and heal up.Last edited by LA_2_Vegas; 10-30-2020, 02:31 PM.Comment

because they don't like loma & people usually don't like excuses after a fight, but loma has shoulder problem's, it's a fact unfortunately for him, i don't think he's using it as an excuse for the fight but some in his team are highlighting it as an issue in the runup and it probably was an issue just not bad enough for loma to pull the plug on the event, only he know's how bad the problem wasComment

idgaf is it's true.....why should I care?
He fought is that state, must have thought he could, and had he won no one would be talking about it, but, since he lost, oh, now it's a reason, a justification. Don't give a ****.Comment

If a fighter knowingly goes into a fight already injured, while not saying a thing about it (duh, saying you're injured pretty much kills the fight), he should maintain that silence.I think injuries are legit points of discussion, certainly don't want fighters to use them as an excuse but if there is an injury then it's a variable to be taken into account.....but in this case, how many times did we hear that the layoff was going to mean Loma was "healed" and refreshed from previous lingering shoulder injuries. Pac and his BS move after his loss to May is the prime example.
In both fights, Loma and Pac, there is no video evidence of said injury.Comment
