And he has at least some training in catch wrestling (the style of grappling that Billy Robinson, Ken Shamrock, Kazushi Sakuraba, Minoru Suzuki, Bas Rutten, and others used), as his father put him through all the paces in training him for his fake pro wrestling debut. Catch wrestling came from way back in the early days of pro wrestling before they started working the matches with predetermined results and choreography.
I’m pretty sure he has no amateur wrestling credentials what so ever.

    He was WWF Champion though.

    As for actual wrestling, none.

What part of "he wrestled in high school" is hard to understand?

High school wrestling is amateur wrestling. It doesn't mean he's some incredible MMA-level fighter, but he has legitimate experience.

I'd still like to see rampage versus James toney at cruiserweight or heavyweight in boxing. It would be like Adrian Broner says: "this one is for the Hooda, h o o d, the hood."

Ok but where is your evidence that he wrestled in high school? This is the first I’ve heard it.

Yes high school is amateur wrestling. What school did he wrestle for and what tournaments did he compete in?

If he has “legitimate” experience then surely you can tell me his credentials.

I can tell you Brock Lesnars wrestling credentials and I can tell you Kurt Angle’s wrestling credentials.

            What are The Rock’s?

I don't think he wrestled in HS. He was a HS football player.

Randomly his dad, also a pro wrestler, sparred Ali.

At no point did I or anyone except you attempt to equate high school wrestling experience with Olympic or collegiate national championship level experience.

All I said was that the Rock had some amateur experience.

                And he did:
Johnson began his sop****re year of high school in Honolulu but moved to Bethlehem the following year because of his father’s job. He played football at Freedom High School and was also a member of the school’s track and field and wrestling teams.

He also boxed some as a child:

His father was a former boxer who sparred Ali and Foreman. He trained Dwayne.

You said he has “legitimate amateur experience”, you made that claim.

Now I’m asking for you to provide me with his credentials to back up this claim and the most we’ve got so far is “he wrestled in high school”

Does that equate to “legitimate amateur experience” to you?

Seagal is an Aikidoka. Aikido is not a legitimate martial art. They do not spar, they do not compete, they do not condition. It's just dance. Seagal is a joke and so is his martial art.

Gene Labell choked Seagal out and made him crap his pants.

5'10" Jean Claude Van Damme challenged Seagal to a fight at Sylvester Stallone's house and Seagal wussed out. Van Damme was a former pro kickboxer so he would've destroyed Seagal.
Gene Labell would choke out 95% of the male population. Lmao that’s not even a bad thing to be choked out by him. That man was a problem for even your average fighter.

Bruh. If you would have said almost anyone but Van Damme I’d have maybe agreed. Van Damme was too small. Aikido may be basically just choreographed s hit but Steven Seagal was also a black belt in Judo that he earned as a late teen/young adult, in addition to karate. His base was probably pretty f u king sturdy. Even if I don’t like him, I’ll give him that. Those sambo and judo and collegiate wrestlers have tree root like bases. Someone like Vam Damme or people with no grappling experience are going to get hurt.

Seagal is like 6’4, 6’5? Have fun getting ragdolled by some giant. He’d take Van Damme’s life. I’d bet on it.
