Probably the best physique to have in boxing.

There is actually if you wanted to break it all down like a performance machine, based on power to weight, to height and its relationship to reach length, we have things like bone density, muscle fiber, joint angles and bone lengths, as an example your boxing reach is not just arm its a chain of bones joined together and they can all be different lengths and each can alter the leverage of the group.

A racehorse, a greyhound are very much selected on physical conformation and pedigree.

Just as in the Thoroughbreds the mechanics of a fighter is a real thing where attributes will shine over others, the only difference is animals are selectively bred for performance where Man its a random breeding free for all, the fat slobs sitting in a bar are culled from racehorses lol.

Although what the brain does with the machine has the final say.

This isn’t true he’s very top heavy, its why he has poor balance and falls over when missing power shots . He has broad shoulders and twigs for legs ,my arms are bigger . This is not ideal at all and not for anyone standing 6”7 at below 220 on average .

I don’t disagree but it’s still don’t change my post ,a fighter trained pro will utilize his own physical advantages . If you saw Ruiz at a bar your statement would prove false because Ruiz is an inside the pocket fighter capable of standing ground,no one has actually got center ring control against him including A.J . He is hampered with a over heavy body to height however so he’s slow footed .

Sugar Ray Robinson another fighter with a slim waist and long enough arms who would get stupid crazy torque on his shots

Unique way of looking at it

No one would take a look at Fury and think this is a prime athletic specimen

To the untrained eye he simply freakishly huge giant

Fury definitely makes his build work for him

I think short arms line Gary Russell is terrible for boxing because it limits how you can fight.
