That's it! we'll let Floyd Mayweather Jr., a self centered, selfish, egotistical, control freak fix the problem of their being to many titles in the boxing world. It sounds like nothing but trouble to me, he started some of these problems himself. He's not a very good promoter, but he does have an good eye for boxing talent. That said none of his fighters have held on to a title for an extended period of time, except for Tank Davis. A few of the fighters he's signed have also left his company, even Tank Davis has had issues with him. He runs his gym with a street fight mentality, 5 minute rounds. Boxers actually trying to hurt each other to impress Floyd, rather than practicing, and learning new techniques. He's not helping the sport of boxing one iota.

Floyd fought many paper champs and used this fact to create the narrative that he has fought more champions than Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson and all the other greats, and therefore, he accomplished more and must be better than all of them. Now, he wants to clean it up so no current fighter can take this false distinction from him. He wants to make it harder for other fighters to take his shine. Floyd is great, but he uses a lot of twisted logic like this when speaking of his own greatness
