wilder turned down the fight as thought fury would be an easier route and he'd be a soft touch after having to lose 15 stone(at the time everyone thought the first fight would be a demolition job), he then got outboxed and looked foolish for 11 out of 12 rounds but pre filled in US scorecards helped him out, then he signed the rematch thinking he'd have 12 rounds to land a big shot or judges would help him out again, instead fury put it on him from round 1 and beat him like a small child in front of the whole world, hes mentally broken now and has no business being put in there with a top 5 heavyweight as he will get badly hurt again.

      Team AJ didn’t want it...

Out of the “top 3”, Wilder and Fury have fought twice. AJ hasn’t fought either.

People can spin it anyway they want but those are the facts.

Wilder fired his promoter DiBella for trying to make the AJ fight.

        There's a fact for you.

          Both sides ****ing up, basically.

Less the fighters, more the people behind them.

If both sides truly wanted it that much, it would have happened.

Wilder fired LB for trying to make the fight and turned down 100M.

There are two more facts for you. It's quite easy lol.

Wilder and Fury stepped up. AJ didn’t.

Everybody knows it was Finkel and Haymon making sure that fight didn't happen. I'm sure Wilder wasn't scared but the gullible fool believed Finkel and Haymons spin and BS.

But all in all Wilder has a reputation for avoiding a number of fighters over the years.

Do people believe Wilder cherry picked Fury and it backfired? I definitely do

Wilder stayed away from power punchers ,he wouldn’t want one with speed and declined to step in the ring with A.J at Wembley after he defeated Klitschko to promote the fight in 2017 and challenged Tony Bellew instead . He didn’t call A.J a ducker until he was back in the U.S the next day ,this isn’t the sign of a brave man .

How did you come to that conclusion reading everyone’s posts ?

Wilder fired guys on his team for trying to make the fight, declined in ring invitational invites with A.J , refused to sign real contracts that were sent , his own team cancelled meetings to go over any offers , turned down 100 million , is on record saying he’s going to freeze A.J out with Fury . I know there’s more .

                    You can’t be serious? Ha

What happened was that Wilder's team realised they could boost his profile by pretending to chase a fight with AJ. But it was all smoke and mirrors. In reality, there was no way Haymon was going to risk Wilder losing his WBC title to a Matchroom/DAZN fighter.
