Is Teofimo Lopez nailed on to be FOTY 2020.

Seems unlikely anyone else could surpass him during 2020.

Fury is only other plausible option but I feel Lopez’s win over Loma holds more weight.

If Teo had Commey in this year as well, then I would say yes. But Fury's win over Wilder, especially the manner in which he won, is a greater win imo than Teo's over Loma.

Only other plausible choice is Fury.

Which leads to the question- what is more impressive beating wilder or beating Loma as a 3-1 underdog.

IMO it’s beating Loma. So I would pick Teo as FOTY

          No question at all.

A big KO win vs a world champion and a massive win for one of the P4P Top 3

Yeah those are the 2 choices imo, Fury or Lopez.

I vote lopez he arguably beat the #1 P4P boxer (I dont agree he was the #1 but alot of outlets had him as #1) and that just doesnt happen everyday.

But now Manner of winner is also a big factor and Fury won BIG and Impressively. Its really is a tossup will be intresting the route they chose and why.

When you upset the #1 p4p fighter in the world in convincing fashion as a 23 year old to unify all belts in a division, nobody in that year matches your accomplishment in just one fight.

If the only other candidate is Fury with his win over Wilder...absolutely no way. Only one belt and Wilder was probably #10 p4p at most. As far as I'm concerned no one will have two great wins to match that by the end of the year.

Unless crawford loses clearly to Brook or Canelo secures a fight and loses, i cant see any other situation where lopez doesnt get FOTY.
