Wilder haters were no less obsessed with the guy. According to them Ortiz is hundreds of thousands of years old, like some sort of prehistoric caveman that they carved out of a block of ice somewhere.

Whyte turned it down because he was already headlined main event at the O2 on that June 28th date ,he didn’t want to fight on the PBC undercard . Ortiz however did turn it down and tried flipping the script with a counter offer and with a fight that was on the same day , Ortiz declined the the O2 one on the 28th and for way bigger money ,how can anyone claim Whyte ducked him and said he needed more time which makes him a liar to since he fought on that day ? Ha

It wasn’t a final title eliminator either , Breazeale at that time was the actual mandatory for Wilder and had not fought him yet so a win over Ortiz doesn’t change anything . Whyte won his final elimination bout against Rivas which was after all that . These Wilder lunatics are all over the place .

I was genuinely asking because I don’t keep up with who ducked who amongst the heavyweights since everyone seems to have a side to the story.

Do you have any boxing idea? Fight an eliminator with someone that just got KOed. Are you kidding me?
WBC had no excuse to toy with whyte that way.

People take the piss but I remember when a lot of people on here thought Ortiz was the truth, especially after he stopped Jennings.

Toyed with him by saying ‘here’s a fight, you win and you get a title shot’?

That’s the kind of ‘toyed with’ every fighter dreams of getting, lol.

The hilarious thing is AJ is sitting there with belts and Hearn is over Dillian’s career using Whyte as a human shield saying ‘if you want a shot at AJ you have to beat this guy’ ... but he wouldn’t give Dillian a shot at AJ. And Whyte totally bought into it.

If you were a boxer that has fought a final eliminator and was denied by a corrupt body. Will you fight another eliminator with a guy that just got KOed BT the guy you are going for? Be practical, don't be an o-yes fan.

Ortiz declined Whyte in two of them , In 2017 and 2018 . You guys made up b.s stories because Whyte didn’t want the Ortiz fight on an undercard while Ortiz declined a headline main event in the U.K first .
