Because he's Wilders main notable win

Here, beat this guy and we will give you the title shot you say you want. “NOOOOOO!!!!!!!”

Actually, it was fairly apparent why Whyte wanted no part of the Cuban Missile and is beyond obvious now.
Agree, Whyte had a very carefully orchestrated career.
Hes ducked almost the entire top 10 of the division.
He's even ducked world title fights, and weaseled out of ordered fights after losing purse bid.

Everyone time hes stepped up and fought a real top 10 hes been flattened. AJ, Povetkin, Parker all flattened him. Parker even flattened him despite being concussed by an illegal headbutt a few minutes into the fight.

If Fury beat him first those same clowns would say Ortiz was an out of shape old man, and they would be right. Wilder beats him twice and they act like Ortiz wasn’t fat and 40.

If you feel avoided, you and your team should make an offer. No body owes him any shhhit.
The only reason Ortiz is been talked about is because he is a southpaw lined up for wilder to feed on.

Wilder had zero good wins, Ortiz comes along and he seems at least "decent" so they jumped on it and hyped him up as a killer and the #2 in the division.

They made out he was better than he was to boost wilders resume.
This is the only valid explanation.

That actually wouldn’t prove much because Wilder never fought the best Ortiz which we saw around 2015 . Wilder actually took the fight in 2018 because his team thought he was much older then he was saying and had some poor showings which why he even took the rematch after the Hammer performance. All 3 of those guys defeat him now and I would assume Povetkin probably the worst match up for him stylistically and was always better .

Hes hyped up to prop up Wilders record obviously. I always thought he was a solid HW but once Wilder signed to fight him the hype got ridiculous. I legit heard more than one person try to claim he was a better win than Wlad for ****s sake.

I think it would because he still fights at a high level. I always favored Ortiz over whyte in a h2h match-up and still do. Parker is 50/50 and yeah povetkin would probably be the favorite but none of these guys would blow him out. All competitive matches and they'd all be decent fights for the top dogs fury aj and Wilder.

Would love a list of respectable offers Ortiz sent out to any decent fighters to warrant these ducking claims.

LMAO he was offering Dillian undercard fight for second place mando when Dillian was lining up a PPV headline with Former Champ Parker. (The way things have worked out Whyte still would not have fought for WBC even if he had beaten Ortiz for the second mando).

Ortiz fecked his prime career on PED offences, he even lost the AJ fight because he couldn't fill out the form to disclose his blood pressure meds which also happen to be known masking agents from what I'm aware of.

Ortiz or his team are Bums when it comes to making fights.
