If you knew boxing and had an honest bone in your body you would find the comparison insulting. Roy Jones beat Toney, Hopkins, Tito, Tarver and went up two weight classes to beat the heavyweight Champion so forgive me if I say GTFOH!

NSB just said Lopez pitched a shutout against the #1P4P fighter.

Roy Jones frequently pitched shutouts against top fighters.

So by that logic, he's a young Roy Jones. Right?
You gave ZERO credit to Lomachenko for beating Guillermo Rigondeaux because he was smaller. A bit hypocritical no?

Canelo is a different league and imho too fast and reflexive than the Charlos or Andrade. It's unfortunate that guys ''top'' guys like Crawford and Spence don't fight each other while their hardcore fans cry about boxers ''ducking prime black fighters.'' Or like Andrade vs Charlos have had numerous altercations up close and personal or the Jermall ducking Jacobs... I see a pattern here. Don't worry though mate! Hispanics delivering the fights for the fans while some fans just create victimhood and ducking narratives to make themselves feel good. It's called denialism.
        Lol, you're a joke bruh.

Austin Trout went on to never win against an elite fighter again, just goes to show he wasn't elite to begin with.

Daniel Jacobs had been a KO victim before and knocked down by bums, and also had a loss to GGG. He was never elite, just hyped up to make GGG and Canelo look better than they were.

The fact that they were so willing to fight Jacobs but wouldn't give the undefeated and superior black guys a fight should tell you all you need to know.

That's how the business is run nowadays.

        Great white/hispanic hope syndrom.

Duck all the black guys, proclaiming yourself the best while doing so.

Can't even believe you had the nerve to mention Lara when it was clear that was a robbery.

Canelo can't even win any fights convincingly at the elite level. Always controversial robbery score cards.

Ppl got short term memories in boxing I swear..

But, he's nothing like Roy. The only thing he does that's comparable to Roy is he'll leap to land a punch sometimes, that's it.
Personally I would rather see how Haney would do against Nakatani because he would've been a much better option than Gamboa to gauge how well he handles a taller fighter who to also faced Teofimo.

You got me confused with someone else, brother.

I actually used Rigondeaux as a reason I felt Loma would dominate this guy.

Going to the body when an opponent goes head hunting is also a Mayweather specialty that I saw Lopez execute perfectly.

He was really in charge with his footwork too, the ref warned him a couple times about getting his legs tangled with Loma, but he wouldn't let Loma get his lead foot outside his lead foot without moving his foot into Loma's to throw off his balance, it was brilliant and perfect. Saw Mayweather control fights like this for 2 decades.

He has some holes in his defense, and his physical gifts are nowhere near Mayweather's, but he's got some of that sweet science boxing savvy down and only at 23 yers old, that's impressive.
Lopez is impressive and promising but comparing him to Roy Jones cheapens Roy's entire career. Coming from Bradley I find it insulting.

Yeah, that was a ****** comparison, in fact I can't think of a fighter that Lopez is less like than Roy Jones.
