Stop it, lomo felt Teo's power & that's why he didn't rush in & had lomo hurt a couple times. There is a difference between winning and beating your opponent. Lopez won and good job for showing more heart and determination than I gave him credit for having. I do not think Lopez beat Loma. The scorecards prove the judges saw a different fight and were swayed by the theatrics of Lopez more than anything. What I saw on Saturday was one man being busier in the first half although not landing much of significance and the other man dominating the second half. Good fight either way.
Surprised nobody is talking about that Lederman card giving Loma 1 round.......Comment

You & your silly crackman avatar still here bullshetting?Sorry to burst your bubble, but blacks have one of the biggest hype to paper tiger quotients in boxing.
Literally 75% of the pbc roster is exposed overhyped byproduct.
Guys like Berto, Broner, Russell, Hurd, A. Stevenson, Alexander, Wilder, Tank, Farmer, Colbert, Haney all were/are literally hyped up to be legends.

No actual argument?
So were in agreement then.
And that crackman survived black “fighter of the decade nominee” literally at his lowest point.
Then the crackman went full racist and put the shackles on Wilder in the rematch.
I think that actually proves my point really.Comment

Doesnt change my argument.
If Lomachenko was Lamont Chenkole would he get the same kind of hype?
Sadly, yes. In fact he'd probably get more.
Because the only group that probably hypes the s**t out of their fighters more than eastern euros are blacks.
Literally everyone on my list was considered the next p4p #1 the next mayweather.Comment

This, he didn't shock me, although Loma is not an overrated hype job.
But again he didn't shock me one bit as well, with Campbell I saw him struggling, even with Linares. The more he went up in weight he is struggling with longer reaches and more weight from his opponents.
Lopez came in big like a tank compared to the natural weight of Loma. I wouldn't want to come near the power of Lopez for sure like he did.Comment

Glenn you sound like a racist. I'm just pointing out the truth. Before Lomachenko won 10 fights, folks on this message board were calling him the best fighter ever. Impossible! He was called the fastest fighter ever. Impossible! He was called unbeatable....even after he lost against journeyman champion, Salido. Lomachenko is a very good fighter - his body to head combos are deadly, but he has never beat any of the elite fighters in the business. He beat a combination of good fighters with decent records to unheard of fighters with watered down records. He has been overhyped because he has the complexion for success, and not because he was truly great. He has been ESPN's cash cow...along with Terrance Crawford....who is also overrated. They both stand on top of the pound for pound list with very questionable resumes. Before any fighter gets heralded as the best ever, I'd like to see them beat dangerous opponents. Loma fought his first dangerous opponent, and lost. I barely have Mayweather in my top 30 of all time...but at least by the time he got to De La Hoya, he had some quality names on his resume. The only fighter that I've seen as special in the last 3 decades was Roy Jones Jr, and he destroyed his greatness by becoming a dumb business man, and a man of no courage after Tarver 2. The reason I use Jones as an example, is because when you saw him early in his career, it was easy to say, here's someone special to come along in a long time. I could never say this about Loma. Sorry.Last edited by Lefty0616; 10-20-2020, 08:08 PM.Comment
