He always fighting the oldest and fattest guys in the top 10. But never the #1 or #2 ranked guys.

Because I like opening debates a little early, am I the only one on here who thinks Joshua/Fury will be a huge disappointment? Not sure if their styles will work well in the ring, and styles make fights.

I guess it depends on how you are emotionally invested, or if you aren't.

I expect Fury to body AJ and I'm a Fury fan so I love watching him work, whether he is letting his hands go or slipping and rolling, or showboating.

If you are the type to want him to lose, or if you only like a fireworks kind of fight, it has the potential to disappoint if it becomes a chess match of jabs and feints, but I don't expect Fury to respect him and his distance for long. We have seen AJ quit and crumble under pressure. Fury will exploit that to the fullest.

Yea I see it being boring with both guys being overly cautious and Fury winning similar to the Klitchko fight. AJ takes more chances than Klit but who knows after the Ruiz fight

Er... Because AJ was ranked no. 1 for ages. Before he lost to Ruiz

He has tried to fight Fury and wilder. you can actually find videos of wilder saying AJ is trying to get him to fight but that he won't take it and fury got offered a fight in 2019 and turned down the chance to win 3 belts when he had none. Fury can fight AJ after Pulev. He has no excuse now. After that Wilder can fight the winner. None of them have any excuse to not make those fights

Let's see who wilder and fury fight in the meantime - if they are bums you will know what really going on. They should be fighting top 10 opponents every fight or they are lying to us

2 of the top 3 big names have already fought each other twice. This proves who really wants to fight and who doesn't want to fight.

But yes I agree, they should be exclusively fighting guys in the top 3, if they have a belt, and should never be settling for bum fights.

I hope Joshua does come out swinging as who wants to see another Ruiz2 snoozer, but I bet he is gun shy again, that chin is proven brittle.

Exactly... the other two get a free pass to fight anyone they like, while he works through the contenders

Not really because Fury was fat, suicidal and retired and fighting nobodies when Wilder picked him. Fury has only fought one top-20 opponent in 5 years - Wilder. Fury was a big name/low risk choice. I don't think any HW has ever come back from retirement and beaten a champion..

But yes good on you for agreeing about the bum thing. Let's maul any top HW who takes bum fights from now
