If you have a moment, rewatch that round for me and let me know what you see as far as punches landed

I don't see the parallels. Ward was getting picked apart from the outside, then started going inside only. Kovalev (******ly) obliged him. Loma dug himself into a hole for no reason by not even attempting to engage through 7 rounds. By the time he started throwing, he was down at least 6-1, or maybe even 7-0.

Why is everyone running with Joe Tessitore's belief that Lomachenko won round two?

He did land a solid left late in the round, but people forget he got hurt early in that round and his legs buckled.

Lomachenko didn't win a round until round 8.

Green K for speaking the truth.

Loma clearly lost all 7 of the first 7 rounds.

Both were dominated by a bigger more powerful puncher, and they had to wait until the 2nd half of the fight in order to find any footing.....

I mean he definitely lost the fight. But Teo won most of the first 6 or 7 because Loma was scared to throw because he would leave himself open to counters. Teo wasn't really landing a ton, just won rounds by default because Loma literally threw only a few punches in some rounds and maybe landed 1 or 2 in half of them. Round 2 could have gone either way.

Typical 7 punches to 5 punches round where the guy who lands 5 landed the better shots probably. Close round.

Nowhere in the fight last night was Loma "dominated", he didn't "have to" wait, and Ward did not wait for anything, he completely changed his game plan from outside to inside.

              Don't see it.

Open your eyes I guess? lol

When you are clearly losing rounds, like 4 out of 5 or 6...you are getting dominated...

uhh.. clearly losing rounds does not equal getting dominated. If 1 guy landed 1 punch while the other guy landed 0 punches, the first man clearly won. But nowhere is that a 'domination'. Kovalev dominated Ward in the first half of the fight, constantly countering him, including scoring a knockdown. That is 'dominating'.
