This wasnt really even a close fight, it only had 4 close rounds with the rest being complete washouts for lopez, only close rounds are 8 9 10 11, 1 to 7 and 12 are clear rounds for lopez, so lopez has 8 rounds, the 8 was leaning more to lopez too but whatever,just because they are close rounds doesnt mean the more popular fighter should get them,and keep in mind Lopez outscored him in power punches in all rounds sooooo....yeah lopez 9-3 at worst.

I could see a draw watching it live but re-watching it today i can only give Loma 2 clear rounds 10 and 11 and thought 12th could have gone either way.
Im a huge Loma fan but it is what it is.
I can actually see how the score cards were 119-109.

I clearly saw Loma winning the fight. It is disgusting that they gave it to Lopez but what can you expect in Las Vegas against american fighter..
The same thing happened to Kova against Ward and GGG against canelo.

Even unofficial score cards from Ward was much better..just disgusting.

ofcourse they're watching the bunch of money laying down in front of them. kidding aside, it's loma's fault. his strategy didn't work which cost them early rounds.. 1st half is also important but he let it go until he realized it was too late and not enough rounds to comeback. too much reading of opponents move isn't a good thing to do.

Of course he did. I just find it interesting how little action there was in some of those rounds. On rewatch, scoring it, it is pretty funny. I enjoyed the chess match. Funny how it was interesting to me even when some rounds had 3 punches landed.

I think he was clearly worried about the power and opening himself up. Surprised he couldn't find more in the first 6 or 7 rounds, but credit to Teo for that. I knew it would take Loma a bit to find something, but not into the 8th round. Great fight though, I enjoyed the chess match and the finish was great.

Yep the threat of Lopez's power with the expectation that at some point Loma would get going was a great mix imo
