Clinching happens in boxing... Its part of the sport and when not excessive, can be tolerated. Yeah he was tired, it does not indicate he was hurt, that is a stretch. It happened a few times and was not a pattern in the fight.

The body does not lie... the knees will buckle, which is a neurological reaction.

Neither guy looked in trouble, as you say, with the exception of the 12th.

Yup he completely outboxed the kid... buckled his knees, made him hold on for dear life... Not! he threw some great combos and the kid, as a seasoned pro would do, fired back... Loma had some moments...

Kid was never rocked. he was hit in the face, and it made him angry... Lost some concentration and caught a few shots. Never in danger. Proof being the twelfth round.

Don't forget the blatant straight right to the nuts, as well as the one at 7:22 (0:30 left in the 12th) that wasn't called.

      Bye.

        Shut Out? Schooled? Destroyed? Dominated?

Come on guys, be serious a little here... That was 7-5 at best with the fight on the line going in the 12th... Lopez got this but he got rocked at times too...

Again, it happens, if it is not consistent...once in a while, its part of the sport.

You seem to think professional prize fighting is like a Brownie Pony Pagent lol.

Julie Lederman's card was the most fair. 119-109 is the most legit. Nearly a shutout. I don't ever want to watch a Lomachenko fight again. He's a coward and one of the biggest sore losers in boxing.

            Good riddance.
