      So many questions

Did Teo WIN? Or, did Loma lose? Were the fourteen months "off" a factor? Debatable. We know Teofimo should be at 40/47. Is Loma too small for 35? Debatable, BUT, a Lomachenko preference, and his obligation to defend the belts. That's on him. Was it Vasiliy/and his team's idea to be patient? Or was Teofimo the cause for his apprehensive start? Loma did what he wanted, when he finally decided he wanted to. That is fact, though, too little too late.

I THINK TEO WON, (7-5, see my post on the Loma reaction thread), but there are understandable arguments.

PLENTY of fights to be made at 35, and I think Lomachenko losing lessens the distraction he creates/d in the division/surrounding divisions.
Now we can talk about Lopez, Verdejo, Haney, Garcia, Campbell, Commey, and I guess Davis - without the clamoring over Vasiliy flooding the conversations.

      FYI
I like Lomachenko and dont think the loss or losses past/future diminish what he has done, does, and is capable of doing, or the career he has had. I'm also invested in Teofimo, and couldnt make a definitive pick for this one, though I leaned Loma. I am torn.

        I feel for you bud

And just remember, Floyd was out landed by over 100 punches by Jose Luis Castillo and still won when you want to talk shxt again

          question,

why does anyone try to determine someone else's ethnicity, backing, alignment, support, thinking, first language, numerous languages, literally anything pertaining to another individual? HOW DO YO HAVE THE TIME?

threads about boxing, really become threads about EVERYTHING OTHER THAN.
          real bozos on here

Ignore him. The guy is a clown and doesn’t know boxing. Don’t see why even posts here.

Was this a bad night for boxing, in regards to bringing in new fans? Nothing to do with winners and losers but looking at how things played out in regards to what we expected for the major storylines, and if you were a casual or new fan this comes off as a major disappointment

1- Lomachenko: What we were sold- A master artist in the ring who would wow us with movement and angles. What we got- An older fighter who spent the first half of the fight doing nothing and not allowing there to be much action.

2- Lopez: What we were sold- A young knockout artist who would have to go for the KO. What we got- A lankier fighter who used his reach to win from the outside (may not have been his fault, but still what we got).

3- Berlanga: What we were sold- 14-0 with all first round KOs. What we got- the ref stopping the fight without the opponent hitting the deck or taking more than a few punches (once again probably a smart stop, but just saying what happened).

Mix in the ridiculous scorecard (which plagues boxing) and the all over the place announcing, and its as if boxing can't get out of its own way on its biggest stage.
