That sounds an awful lot like defending a belt. Loma is the franchise champ, if Lopez wins he becomes the franchise champ. They are selling it as a fight for the undisputed championship of the division. Just admit it, Haney getting played by the WBC and should be pissed off right about now.

The WBC rules state that Franchise Champion status can't be lost in the ring. Thats all I can tell you.

Doesn’t matter as long as I collect, lots of salty tears tomorrow!

Teo just needs to weather the storm an stay composed, work the body and stay on the front foot!
Way to call the fight!!! I expected Lopez by knockout but he really boxed composed and showed a ton of grit in the 12th. The sad part is people on here still cant admit the kid has got the goods.

however if one of those hayemakers did land solid from the bum kid i could see lomo in trouble. that likely wont happen doe.
Well, I had Lopez up very slightly, or a draw. Those scores were ridiculous.

Ready to get off your holier-than-thou horse now and give credit where it’s due? I gave Lopez a chance and by god he f ucking ran with it.

No, not ten rounds, you're a bit too harsh. Lomachenko won several rounds in the second half. Perhaps not a draw as I initially thought, but one or two points up for sure. Lopez won deservedly, in any case.
