I like how I didn’t know about this ‘he had a better tan than me’ comment... until the article came out with him explaining what he said was taken out of context.

Plus Pulev doesn’t even look like your typical white man he looks almost Polynesian or mixed.

Alot of Bulgarians have mixed Turkish ancestry especially in the South of the country. They are one of, if not the darkest European ethnic groups. That may have been what Pulev was referencing to. Being tan might be a good thing in Bulgarian culture because he was talking about what AJ does better than him. You never know with that guy though, he's kind of a wildcard sometimes

10-15 years ago no-one would've seen anything. Paul Gascoigne bought Paul Ince a sun-bed in England camp, & didn't we all laugh! (Actually I don't think Ince did laugh but...). I don't think Pulev is racist, or even prejudiced, just silly. If he'd asked me I'd have said 'if you can't think of an amusing comment that doesn't relate to your & AJ's different ethnicities then STFU'. I'd have suggested Pulev say 'AJ is the one of the most successful boxers to come out out of Watford, joint with that gamer who headlined & never had a fight in his life'.

Nothing racist here. The people who control the world are anti white and give whites absolutely no lee way, if a white makes any kind of racial comment he gets crucified by the anti white media. if a black says something like Joshua saying blacks are superior physically or the NBA guy who called the white Croatian "a btich a55white boy" the media gives a free pass.
