Teofimo's father thinks, and talks like he's a teenage street gang member. Now he's talking about his son possibly leaving Lomanchenko convulsing on the canvas. This old man's psychological problems are severe, deeply rooted in his past. This guy is poison, I really don't know how he hasn't been put in check. How they've gotten away with acting the way they do , especially in Brooklyn is surprising to me. He calls his son a monster, yeah a monster that he has created. I thought that Lomanchenko would beat him in a contested fight. That Teofimo's best chance to beat Lomanchenko are in the early rounds. Now I'm rooting for Lomanchenko to knockout Lopez, and finally shut him, and his father up.

I agree 100%, these two are headed for trouble big time. This isn't confidence this is street trash talking at it's worst. This is professional boxing, not an uncontrolled dirty street fight.

The thing is, he won't. Nobody holds losing trash talkers accountable, nobody calls them out the next time they talk trash. The media certainly won't, theyll encourage it because they believe it sells. Casual fans won't, because its what brings them in. And if ever someone tried to, he would just ignore and change the narrative, pass it off as him having faith in his son or him selling the fight.

Its one of the issues I have with sports and social media. Being outlandish, even when incorrect, is encouraged. Heck, look at many fans they do the same.
