If, IF Lopez wins, he'll still be #2. Lomo got beat by a guy twice Lopez age and half his size. But let's talk about Linares and some other fictitious character that might have hurt Lomo in the distant past.

Can anyone else recall another time in any pro fight?
Don't say when Linares dropped him. He popped right back up and was not close to being hurt.
I think in every fight hes been in at 135 hes been hit with at least one shot thats turned his head and ne came back even stronger.
I can't tell you the round but Linares landed one or two, not the KD. Pedraza landed some in the rounds he won and I think it was the 7th when Campbell hit Loma with a good uppercut.
Thing is though he usually ends up winning the round right after despite that. From what I've seen Loma has a chin. Its not one of those things that people talk about because hes got so much going for him.
Every time he gets hit with a shot that "hurts" he ramps up the tempo to return the favor. Watch him do it in every single fight.

He's an embarrassment to parenthood with that mouth. Needs a good azz whipping. These stage dads should look in the mirror. Keeps that mouth running and eventually Teo will find another trainer, a real one. Then YOU have to get a life or go have another drink!

Anyone can knock out low level opposition and youre expected to. Luke Campbell and Linares are not light punchers nor are they small guys.
I doubt Teofimo punches harder than they do and if he does its because he consistently over commits on his shots.
ANYONE could knock out anyone if they loaded their shots up and threw them at a stationary target.
Could he land? Sure. But boxing history has always shown us time and time again that the better boxer is the betting favorite and the difference in skill is HUGE.
Aka Fury/Wilder and Lopez doesnt posses near the kind of equalizer Wilder has.

Lopez Sr., who trains his son, considers the skillful Ukrainian southpaw predictable, which he thinks will lead to Lomachenko's demise in their main event at MGM Grand Conference Center.

“Though Lopez (15-0, 12 KOs) has stopped 80 percent of his opponents inside the distance, Lomachenko’s chin has been reliable during his seven-year pro career. Jorge Linares knocked Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KOs) to the seat of his trunks with a right hand late in the sixth round in May 2018, but Lomachenko quickly reached his feet, regained control of their bout and knocked out Linares with a precise body shot in the 10th round at Madison Square Garden.”
I think Lomachenko will win but not due to his chin. Citing a knockdown at the hands of Jorge Linares, who has never been known as a puncher, isn’t a testament to Lomachenko’s chin. Saying Lomachenko came back to his feet after the KD is more funny than anything else. Like Paulie Malignaggi knocked someone down and a journalist talks about how they got back to their feet quickly, to cite how that fighter has been tested. Linares is not a puncher. I would say he’s actually a pretty light puncher honestly.
