Teofimo is slightly bigger than Lomachenko weise but not really at all in height.

Teofimo is kind of a short dude. I think he maxes out 140. People talking about he should be at 147 are hilarious. Danny Garcia and Terence Crawford (two guys who have moved up to 147 from lower weigths) tower over Lopez in height and size.

At best Teofimo is Adrien Broner's size who is a decent sized 140.

      3. True we do not know what Lopez has.
      4. If this is like Mayweather vs Canelo it will be because of a drained Lopez.
      5. The only thing keeping Lopez from moving up to 140 is the taller fighters. Lopez does not have the skills to use the shoulder roll defense.
Good thing for Lopez is that Lomachenko (5'7") is not a tall fighter! Lopez (5'8") is actually an inch taller than Loma! Commey was 5'8", and we know what happened to him! I wish we could've seen Lopez vs. Pedraza, but Pedraza did not want that work!

Loma has a lot of ring experience. This is not his first rodeo. This is Lopez's first rodeo. I still want Lopez to win though. I believe Loma is very overrated. He's a great fighter, but he is not the best we've seen. I'm tired of that narrative. I believe Loma is the better boxer, and can win on points or by knockout. I believe Lopez is the stronger fighter and can only win by knockout. He can beat Loma if he paces himself, but throw very hard punches on occasion. He's going to have to gain Loma's respect early and often. He's gotta punch to ko. Hopefully, he won't waste too much energy early though. Because if he gets tired, he will be a dead duck. Loma has a relentless head to body combo attack....that can destroy most opponents. Lopez needs to be quiet though. His big mouth is gonna add pressure on himself, that he doesn't need. If he is too ****y, and lose in embarrassingly fashion, I do not believe he'll be able to recover from such "a foot in the mouth" loss.

I do agree that this is Lomachenko's limit. If he were to try 140, I do not think his skill would save him. I think Lomachenko is a natural 130. Here at 135 we have seen him get tagged and hurt. He has proven his worth as a man and a technician by recovering, but Lopez can certainly be given the edge in power at 135.

It kind of reminds me of Chocolatito Gonzalez, a pound for pound #1 consensus fighter who just kept moving up in weight. By the time he was up into his fourth division, the more powerful fighters were tagging him and it all come crashing down around him. I always wondered how much greater he could have been had he stayed at a more natural weight.

I truly hope a special fighter like Lomachenko does not repeat the same pattern. I actually hope he moves back down before he moves up or a 135 fighter truly catches him cold.

Loma looks at last like he has grown into a 135 fighter.
His head is actually bigger than Lopez and he seems more compact.
I don't think their will be too much difference in strength between the two and once Loma starts hurting Teo to the body alot if his power will go with it.
Loma is a true but small 135 pounder in my eyes.
He is built alot like Canelo. Small but very compact and strong.

Loma going up to 140 pounds to beat one of the champions would be really something to watch...

Not sure if it ever happens.

I thought it was common knowledge Loma is a 130 fighter testing himself in a heavier division.
