So is Otto Wallin suddenly a decent opponent now?

He's a tough, big southpaw with a reasonable engine and decent skills. High risk, low reward.
He’s a good fight for someone who needs redemption like Wilder, Whyte, Ruiz.

After all, if the #1 ‘struggled’ against him, what better way to get a shot against Fury than to beat this man, Wallin, more convincingly?

If they intend to redeem themselves though ....

He would be a step up for many guys. For example for Hrgovic, for sure.

Wallin -Wilder would be interesting. I think Wallin is not worse than Duhaupas, Washington, Szpilka..

There are striking parallels with those unsuspecting sleepers imprisoned inside the Matrix and the sheeple of NSB, that are not yet woke. This Saturday, Teofimo forces the Red-pill down their throats.

From what I remember, an unmotivated, unfit Fury won pretty much every round against a top contender whilst fighting with one eye.

Let's face reality, a one-eyed Fury is still the best fighter in the division.

I remember 12th round more than the third for some reason...OH YEAH! Otto was on the verge of knocking out the Gypsy-Bum, HA!

I guess that must be the only reason Fury has been successful. Any decent boxer could be an undefeated world champion if they just used Everlast boxing gloves exclusively. Right.

Walling showed in the Fury fight that he is a pretty good fighter. He was unknown in most of the world before that.

Hes a mediocre fringe top 15-20 kinda guy who got lucky with the cut and still lost about 10 rounds.

Few fighters from history would fare well a against Wallin. But he's a far way out from ever fighting Fury again.

Otto showed some grit, but he needs to actually win some more meaningful fights before he's a legit top ten guy or deserves a Fury rematch of all things.

I'm a fan of lotsa guys who lost well &/or did better than expected, but they are a poor bet for future success. For every Azumah Nelson theres 100 guys who's names you've forgotten now but did better than expected vs a well known guy at some point.

He's a decent opponent but I don't think anyone really want to see a rematch. Otto needs to stay busy and get some good wins. We still don't know exactly what level he's on.
