Will see how he does against Chisora. He only fought a car sales guy at HW so far.

I think in the 80s or 90s he would be great... but the HW division today, the guys are huge monsters... AND they can punch.

We have to first see if Usyk can take a beating from a HW... THEN we can debate whether or not he has the boxing skills to survive.

He is a wee bit smaller than Povetkin and he can do well against smaller HW or fat/obese punching bags... but as much as I can't stand Wilder... if Wilder connects one against Usyk... it will be Szpilka all over again.

Another thing about Usyk is he’s not actually as defensively sound as some people think and gets hit more than people acknowledge.

Bellew was able to hit him quite a bit in the first 4 or 5 rounds. Breidis fight could’ve gone either way and he tagged him a lot. A few did as well. He won’t get away with that at heavyweight.

And because his advantage over heavyweights is probably his high punch output, If he tries to be more cautious and lets his hands go less because the opponents are more dangerous, then it kind of take something away from him that’s usually an advantage.

He is possibly in my top three favourite fighters And his talent will still make him a very good heavyweight but I think he’s going to encounter a lot more difficulties at heavyweight and certainly won’t dominate the division. Depending on how long he stays around, I expect him to take some losses.

On paper, Stylistically he is all wrong for Chisora. So if he does struggle with Chisora, I think that’s clear signs that maybe his size it’s going to be a problem against bigger and more talented heavy words than Chisora.

It’s one thing saying usyk is not a small guy because he is about 6’3 but he was still making cruiserweight. Does anyone think even the shorter heavyweights like Chisora or Povetkin and could make cruiserweight? Nope. That’s how you really determine somebody size.

Usyk does not have the frame density of Povetkin.

I even think fighters such as Holyfield, Haye, Moorer were slightly bigger fighters than him.

People think size is defined by weight and height 'Size is not entirely about weight and height'. Body builders look bigger than they are because, they build muscle upon muscle 'Their frames are not dense'.

I believe Usyk's skills are completely overrated, after his next fight win or lose? 'People will realize all that I have been saying'.

Usyk is a solid fighter, but he has not real great attributes. He has no attributes that jump out at you, he is just a steady all around solid fighter 'People have created this illusion, that he is difficult to hit' Uysk gets hit in almost every single fight.

Tony Bellew was dead at the weight, and should of stayed at heavyweight.

I agree with a lot of that

I’m not gonna say he’s overrated as such, he’s one of my favourites but a lot of that Is that he’s a character.

He is talented and not really lacking anywhere in the skill set which is probably good enough to take you far in the heavyweight division today. but I just don’t think he can be the best Heavyweight. Especially being an injury prone 34-year-old coming up from cruiserweight.

He will probably pick up some vacant title and make some decent money though.
