Absolutely spot on.I will pay for a good fight at a good price like most should but overpriced mismatches ...NO.
As I've said the Hearns are doing a smash and grab and couldn't have picked a worse time to show their true colours

Yeah because this fight would have done 75,000 buys at best on PPV that is why its on the network.

Oh yes ESPN and Arum are ethical now. Sure thing.

A Loma/Lopez & Fury/someone decent double bill might have done okay on PPV. Loma/Lopez alone would have done like 150k at best though and old Bob knows it.

Eddie Hearn said Top Rank was looking to put Lomachenko vs Lopez on PPV. But they changed their mind because of low predicted sales figures.

You're not fooling anyone, Bob Arum.

Arum's acting like he wasn't trying to put Loma-Lopez on PPV until he realized that Top Rank would have too much financial risk because of the purse requirements of the two fighters. And that's also why the two sides were deadlocked on money for a while.

Arum lucked out when a lot of college football got postponed or cancelled, and as a result ESPN needed some Saturday night programming.

And now Bob claims he's doing something for the fans when that had nothing to do with it.

Come on bob.. dont pat yourself on the back lol we all know if this wasnt going on this would have been ppv despite neither of them headlining a ppv before

They have seen how the nba playoffs and finals did during covid, they know theres no way to have a successful payperview rn without an established pay per view star

                  Still, very good freaking fight
