Teofimo Lopez has boxed beyond the sixth round just twice in 15 professional fights. The first of those two bouts resulted in a seventh-round stoppage for the Brooklyn-based knockout artist against Diego Magdaleno. The second such match marked the only 12-round fight of his four-year pro career an unremarkable but wide win over Masayoshi Nakatani in the bout before he ravaged Richard Commey to become a world champion barely three years into his career.

Shark? More like a puppy (with talent, yes), and by rd 10 he´ll see that too. I still hope he can push Loma and make it a fun fight.

Hope he keeps that mentality throughout the fight. He's in with the great white shark of his division. Don't think he's gonna win, but with his skills & gifts, he is definitely a live underdog here.

Teofimo Lopez can box, and he does have murderous power in his punches. Yet he doesn't have an ounce of humility, a big mouth that doesn't shut up. Most people don't like braggarts, because in building themselves up they're always putting someone else down. His success has emboldened him beyond what he's accomplished in the sport. He's in for a rude awakening, I don't know if it'll be Lomanchenko who'll be the one to beat him. That being said, I did see him struggle big time against Masayoshi Nakatani, who almost upset him before he won the title from Richard Commey. You need to have confidence, but his is sickening to hear. Just fight let your hands do all the talking for you, you have the skill, and the power to win this fight. It won't be easy, and if you have any real flaws Lomanchenko will exploit them. So concentrate on the task at hand, and leave the talking to the promoters, and commentators.

Saturday night, Teofimo will silence all criticism of him by crushing the great Lomachenko. All the belts, the throne, respect, fame and glory will come at the same time.

A new era begins on October 17
