We all truly know that Lomachenko is the legit WBC champion. Due to trying to circumvent the politics with Canelo and make an easier path to grab titles in different weight classes they made a very confusing situation.

I like Devin Haney but he is not the recognized WBC titleholder by most. To earn that respect he has to beat the winner of Lomachenko-Lopez.

It also creates a troubling situation for Jermall Charlo with the WBC as well since Canelo has franchise status.

or in other words haney is just a cuck according to sulaiman. everyone in boxing knew loma was fighting the commey-lopez winner and fraudster haney comes along saying loma is ducking me! he's ducking you to fight the best? makes no sense. instead of being stripped he got upgraded! where is dazn's offer to loma for a fight btw? they got 100 million for wilder but no offer to loma the guy he realllllly wants to fight yeah sure and then fights alfredo santiago and shot gamboa

to earn respect he just has to fight someone in the top 5 or top 10. yet he's fighting alfredo santiago and shot gamboa. loma already had plans to fight hte commey-lopez winner long before this guy became mandatory. why would he change his career plans to fight an unproven nobody. just dumb. yeah hold up im suppoised to fight the number 1 guy but this rando just became mandatory so let me kill the best fight for him

You just proved my point, the guy has such an unknown name, that you gave him a number in the WBC rankings, instead of saying his name. You did that subconsciously because "#3" sounds better than saying his actual name. Because you know in the back of your mind that he was a nobody then and is still a nobody now. Just a number. Collateral damage for WBC to market who they want.

I discuss that in the post you replied to, how WBC ranks random dudes with 3-4 good fighters in the rankings, so we get Devin Haney vs "The #3 ranked guy at WBC, whatever his name is, Haney beat him!".

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Lomachenko not fighting Haney, who still to this date has no wins over real top 10 contenders. Haney also cried about getting his paper title. He cried about it through email. So he definitely plays apart in this.

The point of my post, anyway you put it, still stands. Titles can be won by fighters who aren't the best in the division. Lomachenko did Haney a favor by not fighting him, Haney would have lost. His power is below average and I would say even Adrien Broner appears to have better boxing skills than him.
The #3 was Zaur Abdullaev from Russia. I knew the name but assumed that you probably wouldn't. Eastern Euros are dominating boxing, doe...except when they get creamed. In which case everyone pretends we didn't know who they were.

In any case, the main point is that it's wrong to criticize Haney for not fighting anyone when he actually wanted to fight THE ONE. And even became his mandatory.

The fact that Lomachenko dropped the belt instead cannot be blamed on Haney in any way.

You should be shitting on Lomachenko for that not Devin.

even if we ignore all the other evidence like haney knowing loma was fighting the commey-lopez winner and therefore would not be fighting loma next, how does that explain haney fighting guys like alfredo santiago and shot gamboa? loma isn't the only guy in the division you know. hes busy fighting the best contender, therefore haney should fight someone else in the top 5 or 10 until loma is available dont you think?

You should probably stop posting and embarassing yourself.

Does a #3 ranked Russian not represent the Eastern Euro contingent anymore? Just because an American whipped his ass?

                  Funny how that works.

Yawwwwwn! Love the fight but could care less about which belts they hold. Just keep making them fight top 5 contenders and we all win! Who cares which fees they pay?

and that's why I said the wbc are hypocrites, he won it in the ring and then they went a created this bulkshet belt because they're now scared to enforce mandatories due to their prior beef with Canelo from yrs back. Now they devalued their own belt with this fake franchise belt.
