agree but Top Rank did not want a purse bud with Haney for sure

It doesn't matter what YOU call it.

No one who is official is calling it the super.

Haney needs to throw the WBC belt he has in the trash. How much abuse is the kid gonna take from the WBC?

there is no super wbc belt. Stop making stuff up. Loma was given a fake franchise belt that was just invented barely over a year ago and haney was named full wbc lightweight champion as of April.

              So pick one.

"Devin Haney beat the WBC #3".

You just proved my point, the guy has such an unknown name, that you gave him a number in the WBC rankings, instead of saying his name. You did that subconsciously because "#3" sounds better than saying his actual name. Because you know in the back of your mind that he was a nobody then and is still a nobody now. Just a number. Collateral damage for WBC to market who they want.

I discuss that in the post you replied to, how WBC ranks random dudes with 3-4 good fighters in the rankings, so we get Devin Haney vs "The #3 ranked guy at WBC, whatever his name is, Haney beat him!".

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Lomachenko not fighting Haney, who still to this date has no wins over real top 10 contenders. Haney also cried about getting his paper title. He cried about it through email. So he definitely plays apart in this.

The point of my post, anyway you put it, still stands. Titles can be won by fighters who aren't the best in the division. Lomachenko did Haney a favor by not fighting him, Haney would have lost. His power is below average and I would say even Adrien Broner appears to have better boxing skills than him.
