That being said, and I know I'm in the minority, but I thought he won about 5 rounds and would have scored it 115-111 or 116-110. I thought the ESPN analysts were a little too heavy in their praise of Navarrete while not acknowledging the clean shots Villa was landing.
Yeah for sure I thought Villa won some rounds but he just didn't let his hands go enough and those early knockdowns put him in a big hole. Credit to him though he fought through and did better than a lot of other people have against Navarette. The fight to make is Navarette vs Warrington I honestly think that fight is destined for the UK.

But yeah the ESPN team is always bias towards the house fighter that's just how it goes Tim Bradley tried to give Ruben some credit in parts but after the 2nd knockdown they already decided the winner saying Villa was on his way to getting knocked out soon. He showed great movement and slips but didn't counter off them when there was so many openings but once again the awkwardness of Navarette had him second guessing because his punches came from weird angles and he had the power to hurt Villa.

Galahad is solid and his style is very effective especially against guys who are smaller than him and not as strong, against Navaratte it would be difficult for him to get away with the wrestling and roughhousing since Emmanuel is strong and also can roughhouse himself!

Like I said with Warrington, it’s not an easy night like he had with Selby or Frampton!

Both of those guys didn’t have the punching power, awkwardness, switch hitting and cardio to match!

It’s the best fight of the division, both men would try to drown their opponents with volume, I just think Warrington who isn’t known for his power trying to go toe to toe with Navaratte would be bad news for him!

Either way Warrington has proved people wrong a couple times now and could win, nothing’s impossible!

That’s the amateurs, this is the pro’s!

Shakur has developed better than Villa did and I would pick him to beat Villa right now!

Shakur would give Navaratte serious problems just like I feel Navaratte would pose problems to Shakur!

Yep. Pathetic. Bad judging the last couple of weeks, it only seems to be getting worse.
Villa boxed well considering he had never fought on this level as a pro but his pitty pat punches earned him 4 rounds at best. It was easily a 4-7 point fight with the two KDs by Navarrete.
The Magsayo fight last week was another example of poor judging. The commentators were licking Magsayo's butt all night and saying he's ready for a title shot even though he struggled badly with a late replacement in Hermosillo who was 11-1-1. They questioned what Lou Moret was watching because he scored it 7-5 for Hermosillo but this was one of the few times I agreed with Moret.
Rudy Barrgan, who had two poor scorecards on that fight had it a shutout for Magsayo. He should be banned from boxing. Even Freddie Roach knew Magsayo was performing poorly which is why he said "We need this round" before the last round. He knew how close a fight it actually was.
