In some ways true but let’s not get too carried away!

Villa is nowhere near on the level of Shakur Stevenson but this fight will certainly help his development, he could’ve closed shop but still tried in spots!

Now the fight to make is Navaratte vs Warrington

You can say that do to the fact Warrington has beaten arguably more better fighters but we never seen how Warrington does against someone who can match his cardio, make him think, hurt him or confuse him with different look!

Galahad made Josh look average by just using the ring, feinting, a stiff jab and wrestling!

Navaratte hits hard, has as much cardio or arguably more than Josh, he’s awkward, good chin, holds a significant reach and height advantage and stylistically Josh is a good
      mesh for him!

I say 55-45 in favor of Navaratte but still a good fight, hopefully we get it next year!

Yea that’s the fight to make but I doubt Warribgton comes to the states and I don’t see Navarette going to the uk.

Looks like Ruben Villa was down for the 'Count'! Dracula bit off more than he could chew! Hopefully for Ruben Villa its not the final nail in the coffin!

^ Emanuel Navarrete, would throw a couple jabs away to get a read from Ruben's reaction to his ( Navas ) left-hand. I noticed that Villa would not attempt to punish Navarrette's jab : rather, Ruben would try to pick-off the jabs and roll with the hooks or duck under them. Was Villa gun-shy? He should of been prepared for a fast start.

Halfway through the round, Nava must of noticed that his left-hand: jab, hooks, uppercuts was Villa's weakness as they were going unchecked. As such, Emanuel started to commit to his left-hand and connected power-punches with more regularity.

^ I enjoy peculiar quirks from awkward boxers that produce lovely confusing feints -- which are perhaps even more effective than traditional methods.

The kid ain't no joke either. Villa isn't patch compared to him. I might go 55-45 Josh, now that you brought him up.

                  ^Round 1.

^Notice how Emanuel paws Villa's right hand before he blasted Ruben? This kid has a lazy right hand, he should of learned from round one to bring that right-hand back to his chin. Nava took Villa to school : look at how Navarrete immediately puts his right-hand up to block any incoming attack as he steps in the pocket just before scoring the knockdown, thats what Ruben should of done.

^Nava switching to a southpaw stance to land this crippling left-hook.

Those score cards were absurd.. Navarette clearly and cleanly beat Villa.. I put $5k on Naverrete I would have been heated had they robbed me
