OK, so how many 40 plus year olds are you seeing across any sport performing at a high level over the past 5 yrs? Then compare that to the number of athletes who retire before 40 after seeing a serious dip in their abilities. It's mother nature that can't be stopped, not the evolution of science for athletes.
How many that cant do it are trainers like the ones that do it ?Comment

Its not a blanket lol, science allows the ones that are capable to do it , not everyone trains and lives the sport, the ones that compete at top level into older age are extreme trainers and extremely clean living, that is what following science is about.

32 is still usually prime. I agree. It’s also usually the final year though. 33 starts a visible decline.Comment

Historically only a few fighters have looked “VERY GOOD” beating MULTIPLE FIGHTERS at 35 & up. 35 seems to be the cut off point for a swift decline.
35 & up:
Bernard Hopkins-beat Trinidad, Joppy, Oscar, Tarver, Wright, Pavlik, Pascal
Floyd Mayweather-beat Cotto, Guerrero, Alvarez, Maidana, Manny
Manny-beat Bradley, Broner, ThurmanComment
