And the Horn fight was no fluke either, Horn showed how to beat Pac but none of the fighters post Horn were tough enough to do it. Still while the Flips only have one semi world class sportsman Pac will get hero support no matter what he does or does not do.

Its not a blanket lol, science allows the ones that are capable to do it , not everyone trains and lives the sport, the ones that compete at top level into older age are extreme trainers and extremely clean living, that is what following science is about.

How many that cant do it are trainers like the ones that do it ?

If 32 year old Loma beats 23 year old Lopez, does age matter? If age matters, shouldn't Lopez beat the hell out of old Loma?

Lomachenko is 32, not 40. He’s still in his physical prime, especially since he trains diligently. But I agree that there is an eventual drop in quality after a certain age. Although that exact age is different for everyone, we are seeing more and more athletes push the limits of what was once thought possible. At the present time, 40 seems to be around the outer-limit in sports.

that's why my initial statement said "95 % of the time". It's not a blanket, but in the overwhelming majority of cases, athletes /boxers have declined at 35 and on, and are certainly not performing at a high level into their 40s.

32 is still usually prime. I agree. It’s also usually the final year though. 33 starts a visible decline.

Historically only a few fighters have looked “VERY GOOD” beating MULTIPLE FIGHTERS at 35 & up. 35 seems to be the cut off point for a swift decline.

                      35 & up:

Bernard Hopkins-beat Trinidad, Joppy, Oscar, Tarver, Wright, Pavlik, Pascal

Floyd Mayweather-beat Cotto, Guerrero, Alvarez, Maidana, Manny

                      Manny-beat Bradley, Broner, Thurman
