Are you from the US? If so, you probably shouldn't be calling anyone dumb. The US gets dumber every year. The country is a disgusting mess and has become the laughing stock of the world with Daddy Vladdy pulling Trump's puppet strings. A lot of Americans can't even point out their own state on a map! How ****** is that? It's no wonder America is producing less and less intelligent minds all the time. Virtually every subject and scholastic discipline in America is substandard now compared to the rest of the industrialized world.

No but Adam Smith talked about it recently, the Pandemic is effecting everybody so it doesn't seem like it is anything personal, it is just a budget issue

I guess American Promoters will have to use FITE TV for the UK Market I guess Arum will be fine!
The difference is these are actually good fights they're trying to market to UK fans, as opposed to the trash Eddie peddles over here...

And isn't Kell Brook promoted by Eddie Hearn?

Even British fighters have less viewship at 4am when they fight in America.

In America boxing fans rarely would wake up at that time to watch a fight that doesn't involve an American boxer.
If the UK was offering a fight as marquee as Loma-Lopez, I'd gladly pay $25 for it. If I couldn't stay up from 2-4 Am, I'd dvr it, and watch when I woke up.

That’s exactly what we do. We watch it for free the next day. No one is going to pay for a fight at 4am in the morning when they are sleeping and it doesn’t involve a marque British boxer.

American fight fans does not even watch other countries when it comes to boxing, they cry about Ruiz/Joshua 2 due to the timing of when it would be shown in America.

Some of them talk about it like it’s not coming on at prime time in america.

No way would any broadcaster put money on a fighter like this, even BT sport aren’t. And they are associated with Arum and Fury.

Yeah man they are complete stooges push whatever agenda Matchroom and Sky want them to. As a British boxing fan, I am genuinely embarrassed by this sort of content.

Again, I'm talking about people who consider themselves true boxing fans, not casuals.

I didn't say, I'd watch it for free the next day, I'd pay for the fight, and record it, if I couldn't stay up. As for AJ-Ruiz, I ordered Dazn the month before, and got Prograis-Taylor as well. Americans will pay for great fights, we just won't pay for Usyk-Chisora, and Whyte-Povetkin.

If you're telling me there's no market for Loma-Lopez in the UK, then I feel there are more casuals then you guys care to admit. You can't complain about a lack of good fights, then not support one when it happens. If it comes on at an inopportune time, then support the fight and hit the record button.

Again, Hearn is not using the time thing as an excuse, he said nobody knows Teofemo Lopez over in the UK. So you guys will pay for a bum fight because it comes on at a good time, rather than support a great fight that doesn't. I stand by my original statement, it says more about the UK fans than anything else.

As far as the heavyweight thing goes, dillan whyte is a loudmothed CONTENDER, who's never had a world title, and has been knocked out twice. Povetkin is a 41 year old faded former champion, who, along with whyte, is a ped user...but your excuse is that since they're heavyweights, and it starts on time, the fight is more marketable?

I'm sure if the networks came to Arum with a reasonable offer, he'd have been more than willing to push the fight ahead at least a couple hours, especially since it's on regular espn over here.
Hearn’s main reasoning for not buying the fight is because of the time of the fight.

Dillian Whyte is a big name in the UK so obviously Hearn is going to prioritise that over Loma Lopez.

I think if we weren’t in a Pandemic then we’d have that fight in the UK.

Time, as in timing, or time of day? If you want to argue timing, and say it's not in the budget, cool. That's what Hearn should've said. He's making it seem as if it's not a big enough fight.

As for Dillan being a big name, the first Povetkin fight only did 200k buys. If he thinks a rematch does better than Loma-Lopez, then fair play.

You guys obviously know more about the type of fights UK fans want to see than I do.
