Povetkin-Whyte has home interest, will be on at a decent time and is a heavyweight fight (always more marketable).Comment

The thing Bob is forgetting is the three ppvs coming up from Sky will cost less combined than Fury v Wilder 3 which will have another garbage undercard......you cant complain about brits having to shell out when you charge $80 a popComment

As far as the heavyweight thing goes, dillan whyte is a loudmothed CONTENDER, who's never had a world title, and has been knocked out twice. Povetkin is a 41 year old faded former champion, who, along with whyte, is a ped user...but your excuse is that since they're heavyweights, and it starts on time, the fight is more marketable?
I'm sure if the networks came to Arum with a reasonable offer, he'd have been more than willing to push the fight ahead at least a couple hours, especially since it's on regular espn over here.Comment

Whyte and Chisora are both British and both entertaining to watch. Obviously Brits are more interested in these guys than others would be, there are plenty of American fighters who are big news in the States but unknown in the rest of the world. You may pay to see them fight, we wouldn't.
You can pay £10-£25 to watch a fight and not think much about it, but if asked to pay £75, they would tell the network to f-off (I don't know why Americans just bend over and take it).Comment
