Since each elector gets up to 5 votes, and anyone who is named on over 80% of the ballots gets in, its feasible that 6 fighters could be elected. But that would be very unlikely. It would almost require the voters to conspire to balance out their ballots in an effort to ensure they elect the maximum, and a number of voters not to vote for someone they think should get in.

In all likelihood 4-5 get in
I think it's highly unlikely 6 get in too, but yea it's possible mathematical.

I suspect 4 get in for sure & I suspect it'll be Floyd, Wlad, Ward & Cotto. Toney likely will be #5 & I suspect he'll eek in too, but if anyone gets left for next year it'll be him.

The interesting part is all those voters not voting for someone because they think someone else will vote for them ensuring they get in only to find out that everyone else did the same thing and le voila you get Barry Bonds.

        Mayweather
        Froch
        Eubank
        Benn
        Hatton

That's my 5. Cotto doesn't belong in the hall. Neither does Ward as he's a serious cheat who should have been DQ'd against Kessler. Never won either Kovalev fights and cheated constantly there too. Toney is a two time drug cheat who most certainly shouldn't be there. That's a disgrace. Then add all the robberies he got. Sorry, but he was the most overrated fighter of the 90's by a long stretch. Wlad had many world title fights, but how many were against legit world level fighters? I suppose he should get in, but definitely not before any of this 5.

Toney should be in before Cotto.

Ward beat prime Kessler and prime Froch. They beat each other and all others. It was a strong era and Ward was the best.

Abraham is good win. Ward has got one of the best resume's in the division's history.

              Mayweather, Klitschko, Ward, Cotto, Froch.

I can't vote for Toney first ballot because of the positive test. Bradley Jr should be made to wait a year for ducking Khan, I wanted to see that fight so bad.

Yeah, this is kind of a no-brainer.

                Mayweather, Klitschko, Ward, Cotto, Toney

I'd love to see Nigel Benn in.

He's one of the most exciting fighters I've ever seen.

I think Timothy Bradley gets in eventually too.

I cannot see how Klitschko and Mayweather may be overlooked on this one. Less concerned about the rest.

Ward has a better resume than either Froch or Eubank. The "cheating" excuses that you're claiming mean absolutely nothing.

                      A pretty thin resume at 168 ?

                      What !???

While I think Ward is the least deserving on this list, he def doesn’t have a thin resume at 168. He literally won a tournament against the 5 other best fighters in the division. Well, the ones who had the balls to enter......

                      anyway, my list is:

                      Mayweather
                      Toney
                      Wladamir
                      Cotto
                      Ward

I don’t give a damn about anybody but Toney though. I’m going to be pissed if he doesn’t get in on his first year.

I normally agree w most things you say on these forums, but you really think Ward deserves the nod before James Toney ??

I can’t say how the voters will vote, but I hope they are people who truly know the sport of boxing and the impact James had on the game, and what a great career he had, and make sure he gets in on his first ballot. I guess if it’s a bunch of new aged voters Lights Out might be in trouble.
