I don’t think it’s always intentional but among some black Americans boxing fans there’s this subconscious dislike of Loma because he’s white

I can understand him not being your favorite fighter, but I can't wrap my mind around the fact that there are actual haters of him. Why?

Why hate on a once in a generation talent, the ability and skills he brings to the table, I always found it odd that there are haters of him. It's to a point where I question some people's boxing knowledge if they are really fans of the sport or fans of certain boxers, nationalities etc.

Again he doesn't have to be your favorite guy, but there are people that don't respect his craft......it's very weird

Yeah, I don't know how anyone cannot respect Loma's skill level other than hating on his color. He looks dominant as hell and levels above everyone he faces minus Salido who we can probably scratch off his record. Like when you watch him operate, he just looks like he's so much more advanced than all his opponents and they're left baffled and confused.

Some of you might call Gary Russell P4P awesome (despite hardly ever fighting but skill wise) and Loma made him look ordinary...

If Loma is once in a generation boxer, Salido must be better.

Talking about racism, Loma is a good fighter, not great, and gets more hype than actually deserved because he's white. Has to do nothing with nationality, either, because no American wishes he was a Ukrainian.

I personally don't like him because of the suffocating hype.
