Wait are there actually people that hate Lomachenko?

It's because he's eastern European, black American and Latinos don't like that they're now all turning pro and doing better than them. Black Americans in particular have a real bone to pick with him it seems. They always seemed to thrive on the idea that they're the superior of all boxers. At least Africans don't engage in that bs, there's something wrong with America tbh.Last edited by BoloShot; 10-08-2020, 06:40 AM.

I’m not sure it’s his nationality. Nobody really hated Wlad or Vitali. Maybe people criticised Wlad’s style sometimes or lack of excitement but never seemed to receive much hatred from boxing fans.
His haters prefer other fighters, and they prefer those other fighters because of race or nationality. Loma is seen as better than their preferred fighters, and this is why Loma haters resent him. Particularly when those preferred fighters are around 135, and particularly when those fighters would seem to be otherwise pretty promising if it wasn't for Loma being the top dog.
If you don't have a strong bias for other races or nationalities, then you are probably a big fan of Loma.
If you do have a strong bias for other races or nationalities, you will probably resent Loma because he is seen as clearly better than the fighters you prefer at 135.
The Klits did get nationality based resentment. It wasn't quite the same though, because they weren't seen as stopping otherwise promising fighters from having their chance to shine.

Well, y'all got race and nation covered but those are probably just the biases that bug youse so they stick out to you.
Plenty of people got no time for child-sized divisions.
Plenty of people like nothing new.
Plenty of people take exception to not fighting up the ranks or domestics and just jumping right into title shots.
That's only three, but, I doubled the list so it's fine.

I initially didn't care much for him because I thought he came with too many accolades out the gate. To me, I hate hearing about hype on someone coming in. I'd rather see them prove it.
When he took his Salido loss, I truly thought he was an overrated hype job. Over the next few matches however he won me over. Primarily his wins over highly rated opponents like Rigo, Nic Walters at the time, or even the larger guy in Linares. Having made like 3 or 4 quit on their stool is astonishing alone, and stopping an exceptionally larger guy in Linares lets me know he isn't afraid to fight a bigger guy.
At this point I like the dude. He can definitely fight, he's got a style we've never seen before and probably won't ever again. We can only appreciate what we're seeing while he's still in the sport.
If Lopez ends up winning, all credit to him. I still don't think it should take much away from Loma because he has already notched some decent wins in his short professional fight count.

These sensationalist tabloid writers have marketed Vasily Lomachenko to gullible nitwits that believe the boxing authorities and readily accept any BS that is written about the bum in question, simply because most fans have no criteria to test the validity of these exaggerated claims of ''greatness'' ; this would require some knowledge on the sport!!!
These morons will exalt this fraud Vasily Bumochenko based on these 'great' feats, yet at the same time they cant tell you nothing about the oriental champions that set the record that Vasily surpassed. More importantly, put the accomplishment into context. Naoya Inoue, was 21 years old when he set a two weight championship record in his eight professional bout and leaped over flyweight, NO LOSSES BY THE WAY AND HE BECAME LINEAL-CHAMP AT SUPER-FLYWEIGHT!
Jeff Fench became three weight champion in a era that had three belts! My disgusts for this fraud and all the hype he receives runs deep! I loath you morons that create hollow threads solely founded on your emotions! Or for the purpose of chasing clout on the Boxingscene!
YOU SUCK! and I'm wasting my time, I know you clowns, calling me names, call me a racist, call me a member of the LDBC!!! I DONT GIVE A FOOOK!!!

There are lots of posters on here who clearly hate Loma and say so loud and clear. Maybe it is because he is very good or because he is white or where he is from. Who knows but some hate him a lot and make it clear they do. Some of them hate all Eastern European boxers with no exceptions. But Loma has lots of fans like myself as well.
