If Lopez does anything, he's gonna have to land early and HARD to make his point. Loma's been dropped by a straight right by Linares so I'm sure Lopez can get his shot down the center.

Call me crazy, but I believe Lopez ends this one within 4 rounds. If not, he's toast.
    Pretty much my feeling

Lopez has to land something significant really early. Even if it’s not dropping or stopping Loma, just something significant that keeps Loma on edge and possibly stops him really getting into a flow and second guessing how he commits.

If Lopez hasn’t landed anything worthwhile in the first 4 rounds, I think the night will keep getting worse.

I do think Loma is probably going to start declining as a fighter soon. He started picking up more injuries, He’s no spring chicken for a featherweight/lightweight and has had a long extensive amateur career. I’ve just felt in his last few fighters, he’s looked a bit more hittable and maybe just losing a bit of edge, maybe because of injuries.

Agreed. I saw Luke Campbell was able to look good in some spots of the fight as well as Linares.

Lopez has gotta watch tapes of how Marquez kept it simple against Manny and exposed a lot of his flaws.

Fortunately for JMM, he had 4 chances to make his point, but he did better than most Manny opponents when it came to slowing down the pace, landing meaningful shots, countering and remaining calm.

I feel most guys overthink Loma's style and movement, then find themselves behind or on the canvas in an ugly (but spectacular) ending (e.g. Loma vs Martinez).

I feel Lopez's left hook will be a factor if he dials in it early. It keeps a guy at the perfect distance and a sitting duck for the right hand. He baited and stopped Commey and a few others like that, but this is Loma we're talking about.

      Can't wait!

Guess that theory went out the window. How about we flip that statement around eh?

Lomachenko will toy with this fool and then everyone who's praising Lopez will say how he had no experience bla bla bla..just wait and see..I'll be riding hard on you Lopez fans for being such a silly fan base lol

Humble pie eaten with no problem on my behalf.

Lopez surprised me in full, and boxed very efficiently. He totally deserved the win.
