In that same thread it was disputed and it was said that he made 1 million for that fight.

If he made 7 million, there is no reason for Ortiz to fight again so somehow I doubt that 7 million figure.

Not believing anything this liar says. He would be on the undercard of another PBC fighter. Wasteman, hype job.

Just by looking at reality (The economics, cuts, him being like the D-side) etc we all know he didn’t make anything close to 7m.

He ducked the then undefeated, world champion Joshua... to rematch the then undefeated, world champion Wilder. I do not think "duck" means what you think it means.

I still like Ortiz. Do not care how old he is. I do care he has like two warm bodies and 2 losses to Wilder on his resume. It is obvious he will beat down a scrub and then hope for a fight against a "B" level fighter to get a shot at maybe one more big payday. This is the biggest example of a wasted career I have ever seen. He is an across the board talented fighter, not really great in anything, but no real glaring weakness either. He could have given any HW of this generation a war even if he could not have beaten them all. Instead, he will be barely remembered. I am still cheering for him to get that signature moment against a good fighter. He is a dedicated family man and that always makes me cheer for someone. But he seems like he is looking to cash out.

How about al haymon pulls his finger out his ass and makes Tony Yoka vs Ortiz? (as in actually promote Yoka and build him up fast rather). After losing Ajagba to TR you'd think they would give a toss.
