He's fighting an unknown guy named Scott Alexander.

Luis Ortiz will end nearly a one-year layoff against a considerably less dangerous opponent than Deontay Wilder. BoxingScene.com has learned that the heavyweight contender and Scott Alexander have agreed to fight November 7. The Ortiz-Alexander bout is expected to be part of the Andy Ruiz Jr.-Chris Arreola undercard.

Showcase fight for Ortiz. Thanks Haymon.

Ya I completely agree. I blame Ortiz for his daughter getting a rare skin disease. I guess now he is playing catch up and trying to look like a good father by working so hard at raising money but everyone knows the reality of it. He is to blame and now he has to pay the price........

Ortiz V Breazeale would be a very good fight for both

Both of them need a win over a fairly known name to keep themselves somewhat relevant at this point

He just made $7 million in the Wilder 2 fight, according to Coppinger. Doe.

Yeah, don't know why these heavyweight residents in the PBC house
are avoiding Luis. Don't know what they're waiting for.
Don't they know Wilder became a star just by beating the 40 yr old Cuban?
