It is a great matchup! I agree.

However, a victory over Reigis doesn't do much for Broner's career but it'll further ruin it if he loses.

A lot is said about Reigis's power but Broner's not just gonna stand there and let him tee off on him. Why? Because Reigis just doesn't have much more in his arsenal.

Guys like Maidana, M. Garcia, Porter and Manny have much more to bring to the table than that of a Prograis.

I honestly believe Prograis fell in love with his power and didn't show us much against a more skilled fighter (Taylor).

If we're being honest here, Broner simply lost to bigger guys and guys with more experience. Once Reigis realizes he can't hurt you, he tends to slow down as the fight progresses.

Where can I find you if/when and after this fight takes place? Lol

Again, Broner just doesn't do enough against guys with more tools in their arsenal. Reigis just doesn't have it.

We saw him fold in the Taylor fight and he simply didn't have any answers down the stretch.

Broner will walk Reigis down and stop him. Taylor wore him down and had him second-guessing himself. That power did nothing for him.

Yall know Broner beats these B-level guys easily. Nobody that Reigis beat in the past will beat AB today.

If these things you say are true, then Broner should be going after this guy in a hurry without hesitation. Even if Broner can still attract fans, his reputation is no longer credible for anyone to believe he can even hang with 2ndtier fighters. A fight with Prograis can prove his worth and redeem himself

May be a clown, but he's richer than you.
Richer in kids and debts, not to mention lawsuits.

I don't see Broner taking that fight to get KO'd.

And honestly it's not like Broner is super tough or something necessarily although he did show grit vs Maidana when he was hurt/dropped. The guy throws punches from 6 feet away. This mfer was the first cat social distancing ffs. You can't stop a guy who's rarely coming into your space & he is still pretty quick so idk that Regis can catch him for too long either.

Yes, all good points, especially that a loss to Prograis would be real bad for Broner. But that's the gamble isn't it; does AB really think he can win?

The reality is that right now Broner needs to earn those "bigger fights" he craves and a win over Prograis would put him in line for one.

                Thanks.

Let's be honest here, nobody's gonna give Broner much credit for beating Reigis and you know this.

If he beats him, most will say Reigis wasn't on his level. If he loses, we'll get more talk about AB being done in the sport.

It's crazy how people want AB out of the sport but expect so much from him.

This is the part where I disagree with you. People don’t expect alot from Broner anymore. They’ll only expect him to just cover up and lose by decision. The standards have gone low for Broner already. He doesn’t have anything left that could impress people, except for his chin and his ability to survive. But of course, alot would still tune in for his next fight. He’s a character and he’s got a big mouth with a name. Respect is already gone but he’ll regain some of it if he beats someone like Prograis.

If you really think he beats Prograis, he should take it. I don’t see alot of credible opponents that Broner could beat nowadays

And tbh Taylor won but I’d hardly say he “whooped his ass”
