I think you're missing my point. There's something in his contract about fighting for titles. He get more money for title fights.

I thought there was a trilogy clause that Nelo was unaware of though

I am assuming you are referring to either Charlo beating Canelo and that it is Canelo who is fighting old men.

No chance either twin beats Canelo. Their defense is the tell. Look at how Jermell (the smaller one in case you forget who is who) kept just hunching over when Rosario would throw combinations. Jermell would either clinch or turtle and neither of those will work with Canelo. Canelo is a master body puncher and he would no doubt dig to the body when Jermell is hunched over. If Jermell tries to clinch Canelo will just out muscle him and push him off.

Jermall was hit too cleanly by a shorter, slower opponent. Jermall lacks defense maybe because he has been used to being the larger guy in the ring. We know that Canelo comes in heavy fight night too so Jermalls size will not really be a factor. Look at how Canelo was able to avoid Jacobs so easy. Canelo will out box Jermall easy and if Canelo can take Ggg's jab and make him pay in return then he will do the same against Jermall. Jermall does not have the foot work to keep Canelo off of him nor does he have the skills to land enough meaningful blows to affect Canelo.

They say puncher's chance but in reality Canelo is still levels above either brother.

Who is Virgil Ortiz going to be fighting? Terence Crawford can't land a fight with Al Haymon's guys but Oscar is going to make that happen for Virgil? Ryan Garcia isn't bringing in a rush of subs to DAZN based on his social media following. More than half those people who follow him don't even watch Boxing. Point is, Canelo is literally the anchor for all those guys to have a platform to fight on. With Canelo out and likely done forever with Golden Boy we'll see what Oscar's Plan B is but he's clearly losing the only Superstar on his stable. Guys like Virgil and Ryan aren't "Must See TV" yet.

There was nothing in the contract about a GGG trilogy.
There’s no way there could be as GGG was a free agent when Canelo signed his DAZN deal.
            Here’s what happened.
In January of 2019 DAZN was negotiating with GGG. He wanted to know if they could deliver a 3rd fight with Canelo. Oscar De La Hoya told DAZN he could get it done in order to secure his own deal for Golden Boy fighters.
Canelo has already said he wasn’t interested in that fight and there was no contractual agreement to force him.
Then DAZN tried to force it by not approving any other opponents. Caused him to lose out on his stated goal of being undisputed MW champ when they wouldn’t approve Andrade, a DAZN fighter and champion no less. Then he had to move off of his Mexican Independence Day date to wait for Kovalev.
This is what caused the riff between Canelo and DAZN and with Canelo and GBP.

Jeison Rosario is a monster puncher and couldn't so much as put a dent in Jermell Charlo. Sergiy Derevyanchenko hit Jermall flush more times than any other opponent in his career and yet he didn't come so much as ever hurting Mall.

The point I am making is that Canelo doesn't hit hard enough to hurt either of the Charlo boys. Derevyanchenko did something to Gennady Golovkin that Canelo Alvarez could not do and that was to hurt Triple G.

Alvarez had gone more than 24 rounds with Golovkin and didn't so much as come close to hurting him and GGG was well past his prime too. So what makes you so confident that he would hurt the younger, stronger and much fresher Charlo boys?

They both would fuck him up. They are too strong for him.

How can you honestly compare a 154 puncher to a 168? Are you saying that Rosario hits just as hard as Canelo? Did you not read what I wrote or are you just responding blindly?

I already detailed out what Canelo would do and how he would beat either brother. Are you telling me that you think Derevyanchenko hits harder than Canelo?

Neither Charlo brother pose a threat to Canelo in any way shape or form. Jermall is a wannabe Jacobs and Jermell is too small and would get broken in half.

Tell Canelo to sign the fucking contract then? Let him go downstairs to target the Charlo's body. That would be great because it would leave his fucking chin wide open and very exposed. So watch how they rip it off.

Also, you try to act like Canelo is somehow this big ass puncher. Since when? What have I missed? I admit that he looks good against gatekeeping, old and overmatched opponents but no one as good as the Charlo boys.

Those boys are hungry and they would grind Canelo's ass into dog meat. Which is why he is constantly avoiding them.

Mall could easily just keep pumping his jab against Canelo and see what happens off that. It's not like Canelo is a master at avoiding jabs, as we've seen. He's got a longer reach than Kovalev and Golovkin so he shouldn't have a hard time finding Canelo, at least with the jab. Don't know why people think Jermall wouldn't have success in that fight. Canelo hasn't dominated anyone his size and in the case of someone like Mall, I doubt Canelo would make easy work just out of him based on his physical size alone. Sure, Canelo is a great body puncher, but he's not devastating. Other than Fielding, (who gladly took a knee and smiled like he was getting ****ing knighted) and Liam, he's not out here stopping guys or even getting knockdowns with body shots. There's being a consistent body puncher, which Canelo is, and a devastating body puncher, which is what Golovkin used to be and what Naoya is now. I'd still favor Canelo over Jermall but let's stop acting like Canelo makes easy work of anyone, especially someone who is in their physical prime.

He was open to fighting him, he told the world he would fight him if he got a belt. ODLH repeated this request as well. We all knew what he meant, he meant fight Andrade, get the belt, and we'll fight for undisputed in September.

This was in May before the Jacobs fight.
“Look, the objective this year is to win all the titles,” Alvarez repeated later during the conference call Tuesday. “My goal this year is to have all the belts. If Golovkin has a belt before the end of the year, then yes, we’d gladly fight him. If he doesn’t, we’ll see how it falls later, how it plays out. But right now, my first objective, my first goal, is May 4th, to pick up that belt.
Andrade has even acknowledged that DAZN wanted that fight and GGG refused.
