I’m a bit late to the party but I believe what effected Rosario the most is weight cutting. He was obviously already hurt and once that weird jab landed his body gave up on him. That twitch he made when he was on the ground isn’t something natural that you can act. Either way he should move up to 160, see if he can compete in that division

I’ve already discussed this earlier in the thread. The jab landing in that soft spot in the lower midsection easily could’ve caused a muscle cramp or a spasm which would’ve been painful enough to stop any man in their tracks. You ever get a muscle cramp? That sh#t sucks. I can only imagine how it would feel in a championship boxing match in the middle rds.

You’re saying he quit? I guess that is possible, but I find that unlikely. Rosario, although down on the cards, was still in the fight and wasn’t terribly hurt before the body shot. He wasn’t getting outboxed to the point where he would think it’s pointless to continue. I can’t see him quitting like that in a championship bout.

Ultimately, we can’t put ourselves in his body so we don’t know what kind of pain he was in or what he was feeling in that moment.

But I really do think he was legitimately knocked down from the shot and couldn’t get up.

Exactly. The twitch you saw was more than likely the result of a bad muscle cramp or spasm caused by a perfectly landed jab to the lower body. Nothing more, nothing less.

I once saw a man grab his chest and scream in pain as an alien burst out of him. We all saw this. Movie was Alien.

                  Cmon man get real
That just makes it seem more legit. If you're going to put on an act in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world, you go all the way with it. Duh. Remember Gamboa supposedly had a full torn ACL but survived 11 rounds vs Tank with a torn ACL? But Rosario has no torn ACL, and gets KO'd by a jab to the thick padding on his waistband?

Bro. That's all I'll say. You're entitled to your opinion. But if pro boxers can lie on TV and get away with it, then why can't Doctors also lie and get away with it? Not accusing anyone of anything, just saying, don't act like things are impossible when they aren't.

That fight is a perfect example why nobody really cares about 154 division. In the unification fight one guy is floored like 3 times and then almost get killed by a body shot. Lol..

Sure, make it legit. Every promoter I know wants to take in even less money.

Do you happen to watch WWE and believe wrastling is real?
